Hidden Mickeys at Castaway Cay

I finally found a great classic (three-circle) Hidden Mickey at the Heads Up Bar on Castaway Cay! I had searched for it before without success, but I knew it was there somewhere. (The Cast Members behind the bar didn’t know about it.)

Three coins under the laminated surface of the bar counter form a Hidden Mickey; shadows often make the coins hard to spot. Look on the counter that faces the walkway from Pelican Point Overlook. The classic Mickey is near the right side of a red support pole and directly under the letter “D” in “HEADS” which is painted above you on the bar’s side wall. (Thanks to Michael and Lydia Cross).

This next Hidden Mickey is also hard to spot! Walk to the right side of Cookie’s Too BBQ.

Enter on the far right side of the serving area. Look across the building to a shelf on the wall opposite you for a classic Mickey made of plates or pans. This Hidden Mickey is above a horizontal row of five plates on the wall and directly over the second plate from the right. It’s only partially visible behind the ceiling fan. (Thanks to Mary Jo Collins).

Stroll or bike to the Observation Tower and climb to the second or third deck. A black classic Hidden Mickey near a pelican behind the tower is fading with time. This pelican is standing in a bathtub, which appears to be powered by a motorized fan. The fading Mickey is on the red motor housing of the bathtub fan.

The great Hidden Jessica Rabbit is gone! She was perched in a tree above the Castaway Air Bar at Serenity Bay Beach.

A Cast Member told me that a storm blew the tree over, so the area was replanted and Jessica wasn’t replaced. No one knows where she went! Sad …

Happy Hunting!
