Here are some pictures I took of Jon Secada in concert on Saturday. For those of you who don’t know Jon Secada, he is a Grammy Award winner, born in Cuba, raised in the Miami area, once was a backup singer for Gloria Estefan and he had a number of pop hits in the 90’s. Some of his hits were: Angel, Just Another Day and Do You Believe In Us.
My wife and I stayed for all three concerts. Jon did change up some of the songs from set to set. However each set ended with Do You Believe In Us. Jon Secada sings with a lot of passion and still has a beautiful and powerful voice! To the delight of many in the audience he did sing a couple verses of a few songs in Spanish. However, English was the prominent language used by Jon. Also, as you look at the following pictures you’ll see his two back up singers; yes they are twins.

NOTE: For a number of reasons I am not able to blog on all of the Eat To The Beat concerts this year. However, I had hoped that I could post a couple of videos for you to enjoy of the performers whose concerts that I was able to attend. I was able to do that for both the Taylor Dayne and Kool & The Gang concerts. Unfortunately, it’s looking more and more like Disney has banned videotaping at Epcot concerts. An announcement to that effect is being made before each performance. Although many in the audience ignored that request I didn’t. If they say no videotaping then I respect that request and will only take pictures.
