this was my 15th trip to Disney and I was impressed with the room upgrades.

Now equipped with hardwood floors, a queen size bed, a queen size pull down ben, coffee maker, fridge, in room safe, stand up shower, Smart TV, LED lighting, blow dryer, and more. great storage, your luggage will fit under the bed and the stand up shower is big with glass sliding doors.

The food court has gotten better, the food is better than prevous years, diner was incredible. I dined in one night for dinner abd had pot roast with mashed potatoes, green beans and a red wine demi glaze/gravy.

only downside was having groups of cheerleadrs and dance moms show up on the weekend.

Overall Great Stay

Pros:

upgraded rooms, Transportaion, 2 rsoerts for one price, great food

Cons:

groups stay here,

Decent French Cuisine,

I had the French onion soup, the beef bullion and the apple tart with q French beer.

the French Onion soup was alright, lots of cheese on top, the beef bullion was bland with a thick gravy and plain pasta, the apple tart was the only good part of the meal.

If you don't have exotic taste buds and enjoy fancy French food then this is the place for you.

Pros:

Location, interior

Dining here is a nightmare - and this is during a "slow" period. Always jam packed, crowed, loud and stressful. This was our 7th stay here and it just gets worse every time. Lines are long - never enough cashiers, the luke warm food will be cold by the time you cash out, get drinks and find a seat. Breakfast is by far the worst, and coffee runs out at each station often. The food quality is pretty bad. The breakfast platter offers a lot of food ( couldn't finish ) but none of it good, or hot. The dinner foods were all bad also. In the past I have enjoyed the food here, not this time. I cannot recommend anything here - sadly.

Pros:

On site - thats the only goo dthing about it!

Cons:

Food quality - always jam packed - food not hot

Made reservations prior arrival, had a short wait to be seated. They texted me when table was ready so that was nice. This was by far the best meal we had during our stay - and we ate high end to quick service. The calamari was excellent, crispy and flavorful. The mushroom flatbread was the best thing I have eaten in years - it was that good. Full of mushrooms, cheese and a very tasty white sauce of some kind. I am still dreaming of this pizza a week later! Daughter had chicken and pasta dish which she loved. The desert trio was just ok - not crazy about any of the three we tried. Service good, nice pace to meal not rushed. By far one of the best choices at WDW!

Pros:

Excellent Food

Cons:

A bit of a wait - even with reservations

good location not far from the Haunted Mansion,

good food selection for anyone with food allergies. Options include baked salmon, fries, green beans and more.

I had the Tuna salad sandwich on multigrain bread with kettle cooked chips and sweet tea.

great seating areas, décor and service, will be returning here again.

This was our 7th stay here, and it is losing its appeal to us. The hotel gets more crowed every time we go - and we always travel at "slow" times. The amount of groups here is pretty bad. One group from Argentina took up an entire bus! There were multiple large groups during our stay - you can tell as they are al dressed alike with matching backpacks, etc. The busses were slow - even though they state what times they are to arrive, we found this was not accurate. The dining area was horrific - each day I dreaded entering it was so loud, busy and chaotic. The next door neighbors were extremely loud and we wore earplugs each night to drown out the noise. The housekeeping staff was EXCELLENT - very friendly did a great job making us feel at home. Did not use the pool, too cold. Did notice it is now enclosed with a fence around it. Did not see ping pong table? Check in now is non existent - all done beforehand - that was nice. Getting picked up 3 plus hours before 7 am flight was rough - but included and no cost so we sucked it up. This is by far the best of the value resorts ( Music,Sports,Movies ) so out of the four - this is the best choice - and there is no bus sharing like at the other value resorts - time saver.

Pros:

Location - atmosphere - housekeeping

Cons:

Crowed - Loud

Review of Katsura Grill - Japan

It was my first time coming to Katsura Frill, and I was impressed.

As a Chef and a Critic I wanted to try something new and thanks to the Dis Unplugged this was a great recommendation.

I had the chicken and beef teriyaki bowl with rice and salad, and a glass of plum wine. It is a pleasant dish that is light cleanses your palate, broadens your experience with Japanese cuisine and can't be found in any food court in America or Canada.

The plum wine is similar to a ice wine but not overly sweet. It added a nice sensation of flavor to the dish that will leave you with a pleasant smile.

Defiantly coming here again

Pros:

Great Location, good food, great price

Not a bad experience but I am debating on coming here again.

The Atmosphere and the food are good, the servers are not knowledgeable about food allergies, however the Chef says he has been with the restaurant for 35 years and did a good job.

I had the Sultan's Platter witch was a little bland, until you try the chicken and beef pastry dusted with icing sugar.

The only con for me was the music is quite loud and my party left with a headache.

over all the food was alright, but I won't be returning here anytime soon

Pros:

Good Food

Cons:

Staff not knowledgeable about food allergies

Review of Boma Flavors of Africa Dinner - Jambo House

We came here expecting a good culinary experience.

Found out it was the local favorite buffet and I was trying to figure out why?

The wait time in the buffet line was around 5 minutes and the selection was good from nut encrusted salmon, mash potatoes, sautéed vegetables, carved meats etc.

The locals bragged about trying the Fufu but to me ( A Chef of 19 years) it was a sweet potato purée that taste like baby food.

The Deserts weren't impressive at all, small selections of cup cakes, zebra domes, coffee tarts and cherry cobbler.

The only thing that was delicious was my drink, the African Rum Runner.

It was impressive to see that everything on the buffet was healthy and nothing deep fried, but it wasn't impressive enough to come back.

Pros:

Great staff, Decent food

Cons:

Long wait time, not much for desersts
