Review of Walt Disney World Minnie Van Service

Used this service 3 times during our stay in October - to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Disney Springs. Only had to wait about 10-15 minutes for van to arrive. Great not to ride a crowded bus early in the morning. Drivers were friendly and had great conversations. If service is still available when we some next year, we will definitely use again.

My daughter and I eat breakfast here little pricey 76.00 for two adults and nothing special about it but the characters , Mad Hatter,Alice,Mary Poppins, and Winnie the Pooh.. I believe there should be more food choices for the price. I would recommend trying once if you are on a dining plan.

First time stay at POR- FQ - Week of 11/13 - 11/18 2017
We loved this place. We have stayed at several other Disney Resorts over the many years that we have been going to WDW. The compact size of POR - FQ made it easy to get to all this resort has to offer. The pool area was fun and my granddaughter (12) was very impressed. The food court can get very busy at times but for the most part was manageable. Never waited more than 10 min for any bus or boat. Every cast member we met was friendly, helpful and very easy to talk to.
Housekeeping was very poor. Our room was never really cleaned up to the standards we have come to expect from Disney. Items like tissues and toiletries were not replenished.

Daughter and I eat lunch here for the first time we enjoyed it very much. The food was very good. Characters stop and spent time with the both of us which I thought was nice since we both adults. Restaurant rotated the whole meal but you couldn't notice the movement. I would recommend this to anyone. Would recommend researching menu because it's very limited due to being family style..

We ate dinner at Tiffins and the food, atmosphere, and service were wonderful. I loved that our server explained the restaurant and theme as she was seating us. My mom had an electric scooter and that wasn't a problem at all. They have me a special dessert plate because it was my birthday as well as some extra chocolate bars with coconut on them to go because my wine took a little longer to come out. Next time I go I will ask if I can look in the other dining areas because the decor is wonferful.

My mom and I stayed in a handicapped accessible room with a roll in shower. The room was nice and we were able to see animals everyday because we had a Savanna view. The 2 issues I had with this room was that she couldn't open the door while still in her wheelchair or scooter unless someone helped her and the balcony wasn't big enough to fit a wheelchair. The hotel has the buttons everywhere else to push so the does would open but not for the room. We are at every restaurant there from Mara to Jiko and it was great. I was also able to use the pool and hot tub as well as walk to trails to see the animals, and everything was great. Concierge also helped be book the Behind The Seeds your and with late checkout. I also tried shopping some things from Wal-Mart and they were delivered to my room when I got there. This was the second I have stayed and I love it and would stay again.
Pros:
Animal views and great foodCons:

My party of 6 had a wonderful vacation the first week of September. Now that my kids are teens and young adults we really need the amount of space that a 2 bedroom villa offers. I must say that this was one of my favorite trips we really loved our villa and that it was steps from the paddock pool was wonderful. Check in went fast too fast the girl was new and she failed to do a crucial step to activate our bands. They had staff come to us as we waited in the hall and go fix the bands and return them to us so we wouldn't need to run back and forth to fix everything. The grill at the paddock pool had a nice selection of food and we ate there a few times. We checked the news periodically to see if we would need to leave early due to Hurricane Irma. We ended up checking out a day early friday the 8th instead of the 9th. We were refunded the extra day. Our car trip home was crazy and long!! Glad we drove though cause flights were grounded and many people were stranded. Loved Saratoga Springs!

We ate dinner here before the Halloween party officially began on the 7th of September. I had the New England chowder, it was wonderful! My dd had the chili and loved it. A couple of boys had the grilled salmon which is their fav fast food in WDW. And hubby and the other son had combo platters. The fries here are great and we love coming here.

We love the food here and while in the past we went and used the dining plan we paid out of pocket this time. Most of us had pizza, DD had the chicken tenders. Their pizza is so good! The staff was attentive and we had a great lunch here on 9/5.

We ate dinner here the first week of september. It was crowded and we waited a while before our party of 6 was seated. They no longer have the chef come out for dietary restricted guests but have a chart they give you that shows what you can have. My DD missed the personal touch of speaking to the chef but enjoyed bringing her chart up to the buffet to see what she can get. This was our first dinner
we usually get breakfast. I tried most of the soups. My fav was the Chicken curry soup! Hubby loved the gumbo. The carved meat was great and same with the ribs. The roasted salmon was also good. The zebra domes were ok to me but kids loved them. The guava panna cotta great and the coffee tart was incredible! This is more expensive than breakfast but we're glad that we splurged we had a great meal.
