We had the steak with the habenero sauce. We were concerned about the spicyness of the meal but our waitress said it really wasn't spicy. We both had this meal and it was great I wish I could have finished everything. Someway they take the heat out of the habanero pepper and just leave the flavor in.

Went to the Polite Pig for Easter lunch. DW got the pulled pork sandwich with brussel sprouts. She liked the sandwich and we all loved the brussel sprouts. My 13yr. old DD liked them so much she wanted to go buy more of them. My DD got the 10 dollar pretzel which was good but I didn't find the cheese sauce to cheesy. I had the brisket. All BBQ restaurants I have been to are judge on their brisket. If this is the case for the Polite Pig it won't be around long. The brisket was fatty, chewy, and didn't have a lot of favor. It is a shame b/c I really wanted some really good brisket.
We will probably try it again if other places are busy, but its not a must do. If you do go get the brussels sprouts!

With a party of 6, including 3 generations, we loved Geyser Point and went there every night while staying at Boulder Ridge Villas in March 2017. When construction is over, it will be easier to get to, but was definitely worth the walk.
The atmosphere was quite relaxed even though it was very busy. Helen, our favourite server, always had a minute to chat while serving the excellent food from either the main menu or the bar menu. This is not your average Theme Park or Food Court food, but the prices are similar.
Try the cheesy barbeque brisket from the bar menu. MMmmm. Other diners raved about the Bison Burger.
This is a place we will return to many times, I'm sure.

I really wanted to come here for the themeing. There are a lot of neat stories hidden on the walls if you take the time to look. My DH & I each has the Grilled Chicken BLT with fries. It had a good sauce on the sandwich and over all I thought the sandwich was very good. They do serve it with a side of black bean & corn relish but I don't understand why. It didn't add anything to the sandwich. My DS had the chili cheese dog which he did not like. I tried it and thought it was very good. It's a large all beef hot dog topped it a homemade tasting chili and shredded cheese. He doesn't like all beef hot dogs which is what ruined it for him. But if you like all beef hot dogs I would recommend this. The chili was delicious! DD has kids chicken nuggets which were large all white meat chicken with fries. These nuggets do have good flavor and the kids order was a little too much food for her.

We ordered the Southern Pig (pulled pork) Sandwich and the Brisket Melt Sandwich with the Sweet Potato Tots as our side. The pulled pork was very good, not exceptionally awesome, but I would order it again. It came with an apple slaw on the sandwich, which was good and the mustard sauce was on point. The Brisket Melt was also very good. Better IMO than the pulled pork. The sweet potato tots were good too. You stand in line to order your food, then you go to your table and the food is brought to you. The staff is well trained and friendly. There is a nice BBQ sauce bar at the ready for you to choose from. My only complaint about the restaurant, is that it is quite noisy. It wasn't even full when we were there and we could not hold a conversation because there is such an echo - the sound bounces off the walls and it is unpleasant. They do accept an AP discount which is good. I would eat there again, but maybe sit at one of the outside tables if the weather is nice.

My three daughters and I booked this tour to just add something different to our trip. The big plus for me was that it was short, so it wouldn't take a lot of time away from their list of things they wanted to do, and the cost was very reasonable, so for our family of four, we were able to add it even after the budget was pretty well set.
A brief introduction is followed by a short bus ride to the viewing area. While no one is guaranteed the actual location of the elephants, they estimate you are about 100 feet from these beautiful creatures, and after many times riding the Kiliminjaro Safari ride, I will say they did feel much closer.
There is an elephant expert that provides information about the herd at Disney's Animal Kingdom, such as the names of the elephants, how much food they eat, how much, ummm, "waste" they create, and other details. There are then two brief presentations from cast members from Africa, basically giving information about how the animals and people live peacefully together.
They give you plenty of time for photos, and there is ample opportunity to ask questions. Before your short bus ride back, you are given one of the Disney conservation buttons, as part of your tour fee goes toward these efforts.
My girls are ages 12, 16, and 25, and all of them walked away feeling it was well worth the time to do this tour. They loved seeing the elephants interact with each other, and they enjoyed learning more about the animals and the facilities at Disney's Animal Kingdom.
Definitely recommend!

Beautiful resort! Stayed the last week of March 2017 and some renovations were going on but they tend to do one building unit at a time so it doesn't really impact the others. Used one of the smaller pools as we were two adults no kids and it was very peaceful and clean. Our room was in building 36 which had not been renovated yet but other than the furniture being a little worn it was lovely and immaculately clean. Our studio was on the lower level on an end...our view wasn't great...air conditioner units...but we weren't the only ones. I'm sure the upper units are prettier scenery but due to my husbands stroke, we needed ground level. Would definitely stay here again.

On our last trip in March 2017 I kept track of what I had prepaid on the dining plan and what we actually would have paid at each location. We spent $12 in total more than if we would have paid out of pocket (I also took into account the drink mug). The 2 snack per day instead of the desserts at each meal was better for us. While it is also nice knowing you have paid for everything ahead of time, when we go back in Sept. 2017 we will not be purchasing the dining plan. We usually stay in DVC studios or 1 bedrooms so will take advantage of the "kitchen" option for some of our meals besides the usual breakfast in the room as we have done in the past.

My husband and I enjoy this quick service because there are a few items that are unique--not the usual burger/fry choices. He enjoys the hamburger flatbread and I usually go for the buffalo chicken Panini. Generally peaceful if you try to hit it for a later lunch but it's not a huge place so it can get crazy at mealtime I'm sure.

We always make it a point to stop at this quick service even when we stay in a different resort. And, we always try to come on turkey sandwich day! This trip (March 17) we grabbed these meals as we were leaving for home, packed them in our cooler and ate them for supper on the road that evening. The meat is cooked so well it never seems dried out and love the homemade chips.
