I love eating here. The waiting area gets very congested. We did not have reservations but they found a table for our party of 2 with in 15 minutes.

The only selections available were Turkey leg and Hot Dogs. We stopped for the world famous turkey legs. They had two registers open. Each side had lines. When we paid we had to wait in our line. The lines on either side were fast. Once they emptied I tried to move over. They said I had to stay in my line to get our food. This did not make sense, the food is already prepared and all they have to do is put it on a tray. Needless to say my line was very slow. Had to wait for 3 people to get served meanwhile the lines on either side continued to be empty.

We stopped in for lunch on a hot day. The waiting area was packed. Hung out in Muppet gift shop while we waited. They txt you when your table is ready. The menu had lots of choices beside the typical Italian fare. I had the pork loin. They even have a fresh catch each day.

From check in to check out this was one of our top meals of the trip! Skipper Jackie was our waitress and she was great. The menu seems a little funky, and my dad was wary but he ended up getting one of the best NY Strip steaks he's had on property. For me, I had the "it tastes like chicken because it is" fried chicken, since it's offered as a gluten free option ! It was served with rice and a chili sauce. The taste was so good, and the coating was actually crispy and delicious. Other dishes eaten by our table- SEA Shu Mai, the sustainable fish of the day, and Skips Beefy Baked Pasta. All our plates were clean.

This is a bit of a mixed review, my family had the half meter cheese pizza, which looked delicious along with an individual pepperoni pizza. Between the three young men in our family ages 18-25 and my parents the pizza was eaten with gusto. I on the other hand had a terrible meal. I have celiac and cannot consume gluten. Disney is my go to place to eat with so many yummy options- except this restaurant. I ordered the Paccheri alla Creme con Pollo - large macaroni tubes, cream, chicken and pancetta, with gluten free pasta. Gluten free pasta is not very good, but the chicken and pancetta seemed like they would be tasty. I was wrong. My meal had about 1/4 cup (cooked) pasta, barely any sauce and about a half a chicken breast all chopped up. No pancetta. It was no good. So while the pizza was a hit, we sadly cannot return, nor can I recommend this restaurant to anyone who has any gluten intolerance.

This is my wife's fav. We like to take the boat to Disney Springs. The bus service is very slow here. The resort is a great little gem. Hope it stays that way. Try to get room with water view.

My mother, son and I decided to give this place try while the rest of our party golfed. We had a classic cheeseburger, BBQ classic, and a bacon and bleu. I have celiac and the burger was put on a gluten free roll. First I have to say these burgers were HUGE. The only one to finish was my 18 year old son. My mother knew from the get go that it was too much and cut hers in half to take some home. The burgers were cooked correctly, two mediums and a medium rare. The French fries were good too. The only down side to this place other than being quote costly, is the seating. It was like a full contact sport. It didn't help that there was a private event going on so whole room of seating was being taken up by a small group. We were lucky and got a table fairly quickly, but were stalked the whole time we ate.

We've stayed at POFQ about 10 times now and we love it. From the moment we enter the port cochere, and then hear the lobby fountain, we feel welcomed and at home.
This time, I was thrilled to receive my "room ready" text at 7AM while on the Magical Express after an overnight flight from Seattle. It was so great to be able to skip the front desk and go right to the room to get changed and ready for Magic Kingdom.
My only complaint about the resort is the food court. I have always loved the food court and the new renovations look great. But, the wait for food was consistenly lengthy. Over 20 minutes for pasta, pizza, and a chicken sandwich-on 3 separate occasions. There is nowhere to wait in the small area, especially with the new drink coolers in there. Perhaps more of the stations could use the "buzzers" so we would not have to wait and cluster around the windows to hear our names. I also noticed changes to some of my favorite items: the po'boys have a different sauce and the bread is harder. The jambalaya isn't as tasty, and the whole wheat croissant on the breakfast sandwich was not good.
One more small complaint-Riverside's cheesecake is far superior!
Pros:
River boat to Disney Springs, small size, decor and themingCons:

The food here was delicious. My dad, a very picky meat-eater, said the pot roast was his favorite food of the entire week. The salad, green beans, rolls, new addition of potato salad, stuffing, and mashed potatoes were delicious as well. The dessert was absolutely perfect. Crisp and sweet, with the right amount of berries and whipped cream.
The character interaction was plentiful and not rushed. My son loved getting to see the characters multiple times.
We love how the restaurant rotates and we get new scenery every few minutes.
My one complaint is that we checked in about 5-10 minutes early, and still had to wait 25 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. When seated, our waiter was extremely rushed and overwhelmed. Dinner took over 90 minutes. Just getting and paying the check turned into a huge, lenghty ordeal and we asked for it early. We missed Illuminations because of this. We will definitely be back but will try for an earlier ADR.

Just popped in for a few drinks and snacks Friday, June 2nd. I found the offerings to be minimal for a quick service eatery.
