My daughter is vegan and was very excited to try the treats here. My other daughter and I accompanied her and got onion bread and a snickerdoodle cookie. Vegan daughter got the soft serve ice cream. None of us liked the cookie and the onion bread and ice cream were just OK. There is a big difference between vegan and gluten free. I think this bakery is great for those with gluten intolerance, but otherwise I'd avoid it.

Pros:

Gluten free options

Cons:

Not very tasty

The food was great but I really have to praise the service. My niece became very ill while at the restaurant and the manager and custodial staff were wonderful. I especially appreciated the fantastic service of our waitress Sandrine.

Pros:

Wonderful staff

Review of Saratoga Springs Resort (Disney Vacation Club)

I stayed at SSR for 1 night, June 2-3, for a quick trip to Disney Springs with my 17 year old daughter, my sister, and my 1 year old niece. We chose SSR for its proximity to Disney Springs, because we had planned on spending our time there shopping and eating. Unfortunately, we were put in the Carousel section, which is the furthest away from Disney Springs. At one point, we waited over 20 minutes for an internal bus, finally giving up and making the long walk back to our room...

The resort itself is beautiful, but lacks that Disney feel. Our room was ready at our 1030 am check in, and had a gorgeous view of a pond with a fountain and a "carousel."

The room was clean and spacious.

I don't feel like I will stay here again. It's a one and done for me. There are other properties that I find better fit me...

Pros:

Beautiful Property

Cons:

Too Big, and Lacks Disney Decor

The restaurant is beautiful and we were seated on the patio which was nice because we got a good nighttime view of Disney springs and the folks walking around. Our dinner experience wasn't quite so nice mainly because of our server who encouraged us to order more food (and spend more $$) than I felt that I should have in the end. He told us main dishes would take awhile to come out so we should order appetizers. We got Miso soup and it showed upright before the main dish. He also said meat dishes were not big enough to share like the rice and noodle dishes which didn't turn out to be the case. So in the end we left a lot of food on the table and I felt bad that I ordered so much. My daughter got sushi which was good, but other dishes were just OK and nothing better than my local Chinese restaurant. Next time I think we'll just do the street food.

Pros:

Atmosphere

Cons:

Price, service

We did Sunday brunch here mainly because we heard the restaurant would accommodate vegans like my older daughter. My youngest daughter and I ate off of the buffet and it was really, really good. They have traditional breakfast food and lunch items including freshly carved meats. I stuck to breakfast items and had more food than I could eat. Baked goods like corn muffins pushed me over the edge. Our server was friendly and attentive. He talked to the chef and brought out a special tofu and vegetable dish for my vegan daughter which was flavorful and made her day. Fantastic experience all around!

This is our favorite place to eat in Epcot. We love the vegetarian plate. Falafel is awesome. This time around we got our food in the evening and sat outside and listened to the band playing outside. One of the best experiences on our trip. Highly recommended!

Arrived for an 11 night stay on February 27, 2017. We had received a text message before our arrival that our room was ready. We avoided the check in desk and parked nearest to our room as possible. Magic Bands worked great getting into the room. We were in building 2, in the Mighty Ducks section. We had requested to be as close to transportation as possible. We had a standard room reservation and I believe we were as close to transportation as possible without paying for a preferred room. The room was clean. We had a king bed for the first time and loved that set up better than the two full/queens we've had on previous visits to other resorts. The carpet was slightly worn but it was clean so we didn't really care. The room smelled like it may have had a deep clean before our arrival. This was our third stay in a row in a value resort. And while the resort itself was fine for what we needed, we are tired of value resorts and will be booking moderate for our next trip. We only swam in the Mighty Ducks pool. It was a basic square pool with Mighty Duck accents around. The pool was always clean and warm. We enjoyed it very much. Being two adults we don't really have a need for a fancy pool and never actually swam in the main Fantasia pool. However it did look super cute.

Pros:

Clean, food court

We ate here on February 27, 2017. It was our first time eating here. We loved it and plan to eat here again on our next visit. I had Art's Famous Fried Chicken. It was delicious. It came with mashed potatoes and a cheddar biscuit. I would definitely get this again. Hubby wanted the braised short ribs but they were out so he got the chopped pork bbq plate. He enjoyed it very much. It came with homemade mac and cheese and a cheddar biscuit. All was delicious.

Pros:

Food, decor, atmosphere, service

Cons:

They were out of Hubby's first choice.

Our plan was to have an early breakfast at Epcot to gain access to the park before everyone else. Well, now we know that doesn't happen at Epcot. So that was a pretty big disappointment. We did enjoy the restaurant. It's not something we would plan to do every trip as it's just Hubby and I. But we still found it worth it. Food was very good and the character interaction was great. Love the rotating platform the restaurant is on. Sometimes you forget it's rotating until you notice your view is different.

Atmosphere, characters, cinnamon rolls

This is a must do on all our DW trips. We always get the build your own angus burger. Delicious. And the fries are excellent as well. Yes, it's the same trailers being shown as always, but we only go once a year so it's still fun and never gets old to us. Try the chocolate milkshake. YUM!
