Let me just say that I love Skipper Canteen's and have reservations booked again for October (I have already had dinner here twice). Our service was great and the food was very flavorful on March 26th. However, check-in was very disorganized. We waited to be seated 20 minutes past our reserved time, only to be seated in a half empty restaurant. I don't understand...Needlesstosay, we are coming back. This is a really great restaurant, and the menu options are unique and very tasty. I'm just hoping our late seating was a fluke...

I have done just about every character meal on property, and this one is by far the best!!! Character interaction, food and service was top notch. I can't wait to come back in June. I know my 2-year-old niece will love it!

everything about this resort is great. really appreciated how the cast members treat the guests
they treat you like royalty. rooms are beautiful and really enjoyed the view. stayed there in March 2018 and hope to stay again.

We stopped here on a Thursday evening without a reservation and were pleased to be seated immediately. Smelled so good! My niece and I had caprese salad and chicken parmesan and cappuccino. Very good! We checked out what was being served around us and decided we will definitely be back. The pastas looked great. I thought prices were very reasonable for Disney.

Had the brownie sundae and was able to split between 2 adults and 1 toddler. Warm brownie + Cool hand scooped vanilla ice cream + whipped cream and cherry = goodness

Recently they reworked the menus. I personally loved the empanadas at the Warming Hut, but the new beef and chicken rice bowls are very good. My three year old ate it up. The veggies that come in the bowl are broccoli, carrots, red peppers, celery and onions. It feels like a bit more healthier options now, instead of the typical burgers/nuggets/fries water park grub.

Had tea reservations here on March 26th. Check in was a bit disorganized. No one seemed to know what they were doing, which is odd, because things have always run smoothly for us in the past. This was our third time having tea at the GF.
Service seemed a bit rushed.
The food and tea were wonderful. We had fruit, cheese and crackers, tea sandwiches, and lots of yummy desserts.

Met friends here for drinks on March 25th before our dinner reservations at the Cali Grill at the Contemporary Resort.
I cannot say enough about how wonderful this outside dining/lounge space is. The service is great. The food is delicious and the drinks are some of the best on Disney property. I'm hoping to pop in during our June trip, but will definitely be back in October!!!
