Buffet options were good and well stocked. The Salmon was as good as I have had even in a sit down restaurant. Had lost of interesting pasta and noodle salads to try.

We all get the fish and chips and they were very tasty. Batter was crisp and fish was flaky. Good prices for what you get and where you are.

You are clearly paying for the atmosphere here but the menu has slid over the years - bring back Major Domos Pie! Service is very good and the restaurant is beautiful.

We have a child with dietary issues and can only eat certain foods which we brought with us. During the night the in room refigerator quit and spoiled her food. We went to the desk to see what could be done and they brought us a new refrigerator and sent someone to an EarthFare to replace the food while we went to the park. Even called us to let us know they had found the food to put our mind at ease. MAGICAL SERVICE for sure!
The resort itself is well-maintained but still dated due to the low ceilings (I think). If you get a room in the back of the resort, you will have a long walk to the main house which is mainly an issue if it rains. plenty of good dining choices at the resort.

I gave this an 8 because of the feeling of being rushed. Also, when I ordered an omelet, the lady cooking it wasn't very pleasant as if I was bothering her.
The food, all in all, was very good. The fruit and pastries were fresh. My husband loves the breakfast lasagna and I have to say it was really good. Too much food for me as I just don't eat that much for breakfast.
The characters, as always, came to the table for pictures and we took advantage of that. I just felt like the people with the characters made us feel very rushed.
Pros:
Characters and choice of foodCons:

We always eat at the Rainforest Cafe when we are at Disney. This was our 2nd time at the one in the Animal Kingdom. The noise level this particular day was horrible. Not to mention I believe everyone ordered the Volcano dessert which prompts all of the wait staff to yell out "Volcano" at the top of their lungs which wouldn't be bad except that I heard it so often I wanted to scream myself.
Pros:
Food was really goodCons:

I gave this a 9 because of our waiter. His name is Gary and if you get the chance to go ask for him. He made the experience wonderful for all of us.Everyone that was in his section couldn't say enough about how wonderful he was. Even my children had a great time and that is kinda hard with a 13 year old boy who would rather eat on the go and spend more time riding the fast rides! We didn't wait long for our table and the food came fast.
Pros:

We ate lunch here our first day and the food was good for fast food. My only complaint was you are carrying this huge tray of food and trying to get thru the crowds waiting to order. I was lucky I didn't drop the tray on someone. They really need to figure this one out.

The food was goodCons:

My family of 4 checked into the resort on July 6th at 10:00 am. We fully expected to have to wait until later in the afternoon to actually get into our room but they had it ready and waiting. I love the updates that they have made to the rooms. 2 queen beds and the extra storage space under the sinks is invaluable when you have 4 people staying in a room. We were in building 3 on the second floor. Close to both the main building and the pool. I wish the pool had been a little deeper but the kids had fun.
The bus service was good the only day we had issues was one and that was when we had to stop at Typhoon Lagoon and all of the Riverside stops. Disney should consider having one bus for each resort especially at busy times.
The food court was nice. I wish they had more choices in the evenings but other than that, it was ok. The coffee that is provided in the rooms as well as what is offered in the food court is awful! Tastes like brown water. The coffee maker in the room doesn't get the water hot enough so I was excited that I was able to get Starbucks when I was at the Magic Kingdom. They should really update the coffee at the resorts!
The staff were all pleasant and willing to help with anything that we needed. All in all, we had a great experience and would stay here again.

We dined here on July 1st and really enjoyed the food. On the Disney Deluxe plan, you learn to eat and share to get different experiences. Our group chose the spinach dip and onion rings for appetizers and they were wonderful. I had the veggie pie and I have to tell you the garlic mashed potatoes on the top were delicious. DD had a steak and she said it was the best steak she's ever had. One of our party had the sugar free icecream but found the brownie dry. DD had the candy bar chocolate cake with ganache and raved about it. I had a vanilla milkshake and it was divine. Server was great, very attentive. Referred to the third row diners as back street drivers...lol. Very funny. Old movie were good. We would maybe go again...still so many restaurants to try yet. The seats are cramped if you have backpacks and families of four are separated by, well a car seat but it is fun. Only downfall is there is no water drain for the downpour that occurred outside the restaurant and we were all drenched (up to ankles) when leaving.
