My son and wife love animals so this resort met and exceeded our expectations. We had a Savanna side room and it was amazing. Giraffes were litterally at your balcony.
The room was clean, well maintained, and well worth the price.
The restaurants were very good. The Mara (quick service) was outstanding. Everything was always well stocked and they had a great helpful staff.
I would recommend staying here, it was great.

Dined here on 25th September, our server was Orisis ( think I spelt her name right), we were introduced to a new menu. I had the the trio of beef and my partner had the fillet mignon, both meals were cooked to perfection. I canont recommend this restaurant enough. We will always look forward to dining here.

My sister and I opted for a longer stay at a value vs. a shorter stay at a moderate. We never waited long for a bus, the computer pool was quiet and clean and we received fresh towels on our doorknob on the days we put out the DND sign. There was no usable refrigerator, but we were prepared for that. They were sanding down the Mickey phone right near our room which was quite loud during the day and we had a voicemail one night advising us of a planned power outage waking you up when the electrical appliances went dead and when they came back on. Very minor inconveniences for sure.

As AddictedtoDisney stated, some people are not adhering to the dress code, which is a shame as this is a beautiful restaurant. The service can not be faulted, fantastic food and outstanding menu. Definitely worth the 180 day wait.

The new printed menus that are distributed now as you enter the restaurant are a GREAT idea, now you should be ready to order when you get to the cashier instead of trying to gaze up at the menu trying to figure out what you want at the last second. The flatbreads here are a great idea and a nice alternative to the traditional pizza. I had the BBQ chicken flatbread, and it was quite good. Lots of pieces of bbq chicken and covered in cheese, and I had the chocolate gelato for dessert (reminded me of a fudge-sicle). My only complaint here is one that I have for nearly every counter service restaurant in Disney World-it is nearly impossible to find seating. When our group of four adults arrived, one of us went to secure a table while the remainder got their meals-when they got to the table, the person "holding" the table went to get their meal. This means that not everyone gets to eat together, and it means that the table is occupied longer because now you basically have two meals being eaten back-to-back. I really wish Disney could come up with a reasonable solution to this, this has been a problem for as many years as I can recall coming to Disney.

This another "must-do" for us on every trip, but this time it just didn't seem as though our server was as much "in character" as in previous visits. He was pleasant enough, and there were some of the expected shenanigans, but nowhere near as much fun as on previous trips. I was getting more of a chuckle from one of the waitresses in the adjoining dining room, especially when one patron was reluctant to eat his vegetables! As for the food, my wife and I both had the chicken pot pie and it was very good with lots of large pieces of chicken and a very flavorful gravy. I don't recall what she had for dessert, but I had the Boston Cream parfait (recommended by our waiter over the Apple Crisp) and it was fantastic. We will definitely be back, but I hope our next server is more "into" the whole theme next time.

I have eaten in this restaurant once before, but it was at least fifteen years ago. My wife has never been before, so we decided to try it this trip. Our ADR was for 3:05, which I figured would be an "off" time-the waiting area was absolutely PACKED when we arrived, about 10 minutes before our ADR time. We were FINALLY seated about 25 minutes AFTER the ADR time. Not sure where Disney dropped the ball on this one, but we were not happy about the extra long wait. The "cars" are not comfortable for people like myself with "mature" body types, and it was so dark that it was difficult to read the menu and to see what we were eating when we received our food. My wife and I both had the chicken pasta, which was good but not outstanding. The portion size was generous. I honestly don't recall what we had for dessert. The old film clips and intermission promos were amusing, especially since we grew up in the era and actually went to drive in movies back in the day. The last time I came to this restaurant, the wait staff roller skated to and from the cars and I was disappointed that they no longer do that. I don't think we will be returning to this restaurant next visit; the menu leans heavily to burgers/sandwiches and I don't like to use Table Service credits on the Dining Plan for Counter Service-type food. If you haven't been, you should experience it at least once.

Four of us dined here recently; my wife and myself and another adult couple. This restaurant is a "must-do" every trip! Several of us started with the onion soup-plenty of tender onions, flavorful broth and topped off by lots of nice gooey cheese! My wife and I opted for beef tenderloin for our entrée, the other couple both had the scallops. The beef was cooked exactly as requested and was so tender and melt-in-your-mouth that I was literally able to cut it with my fork! The other couple raved about the sauce that accompanied their dish. We all had the crème brulee for dessert and as always, it is to die for. The only disappointment was the service. The waitress was friendly and polite. After we had been seated and ordered, our appetizers arrived before our beverages-three non-alcohol sodas and a glass of house wine. Once the food arrived (not delivered by our waitress), we didn't see the waitress for quite some time. When she did come by, she had refills for the soft drinks but she came and went so fast we never had a chance to ask for a refill on the wine. It took several more minutes to flag her down from nearby tables to order it, and it wasn't received until after we had already received our desserts and started on them. Despite the mediocre service, we will definitely eat here again because the food is excellent.

I have no idea how this place got so many negative reviews. 9 of us dined here on the dining plan, we reserved the Fantasmic package. Our waiter was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient.
Me and my son decided to share our meals so we could try more stuff. I got the calamari and chicken parm, he got Caesar salad and the steak. The Calamari was flavorful and tender, the dipping sauces were excellent. The Salad was fresh, crisp and had a lot of flavor, but not too much dressing-perfect. I loved my chicken but the steak with mac and cheese was maybe one of the top ten foods I ever put in my mouth. Steak was chard on outside and perfect medium-rare inside, so tender it just meted without hardly a chew, mac and cheese was rich and creamy- very tasty. Everyone else loved their food also, they brought trays of desserts which were yummy and the Fantasmic seats were good. A great value on the dining pan abd our new favorite restaurant in HS.

The food was really good, sausages, salads, sides, turkey, meatballs and desserts. Our waitress was very good, only negative is with many open tables, they give us a table right next to stage, (literally to the very left of it) could not hear a thing anyone at table or our waitress said.
