We have stayed at French Quarter three times. It is our very favorite resort. This is a small resort with just one lovely pool. Every building is close to the food court and the bus stop. Yes, there is only one bus stop, but we have never had a problem getting on a bus. We enjoy having a drink at the Scat Cat club after a long day at the parks. The beingets served at the food court are amazing! You can take a boat to Disney Springs. French Quarter has a very relaxing atmosphere.
Pros:
Short walk to your room, the food court and the bus stop.Cons:

This is my favorite restaurant in Magic Kingdom, and lunch is my fave meal to eat here. (I find the dinner and breakfast options too price-y to really enjoy the meal.) The croque monsieur sandwich is second-to-none. I often substitute green beans for the fries to make sure I'm getting some veggies, and they are always happy to make this change. It is easier at the cash registers up front than on the automated kiosks, however.
Pros:
Topnotch theming! Great music! Three distinctly themed rooms depending on your mood or companions.Cons:

We’ve done PhotoPass twice and I don’t think I would do Disney again without it! I love that the whole family is in the picture, including me! There are photographers all over the parks. You get a wide variety of shots. Also, you get fantastic “magic” shots with special effects and you will receive fun videos on your MDE account.
Pros:
Magic shots Fun videos Everyone in the photosCons:

I recently took a 7-day cruise solo on the Disney Dream touring the Eastern Caribbean. Prior to this, I had sailed with family three times on the Disney Magic and once on the Disney Wonder, so my review will reflect some differences I observed, as well as the "solo" experience. I was placed with one other couple for dining, and we were similar ages and found lots to chat about each night. When it came to entertainment, I enjoyed being able to pick and choose what I wanted to do, when I wanted to do it. I loved having my room to myself (a porthole view room on an upper deck.) I only took one excursion tour, but it was one my family wouldn't have gone on, so again, it was great to be able to do what I wanted. There were a few times I felt a bit lonely, but with the terrific service and attention I received, I didn't have many of these moments. Would I do it again? Maybe, in the future, but I'd probably choose to travel with friends or family next time.
Pros:
The ship had lovely new-to-me dining rooms and the super-fun AquaDuck.Cons:
I felt that the ship was very crowded in comparison to the Magic and Wonder. I didn't like the adult pool area at all. The pools were weirdly shaped and not at all set up for a leisurely swim. Also, the area had a door that meant families were constantly parading through the area. Not restful at all in comparison to the set-up on the Magic and Wonder.Review of Grand Floridian Cafe Breakfast

We had lunch there after I got done with a mani/pedicure at the Spa. The lunch menu is now a mix of breakfast/lunch options. I had the the 2 Eggs with hashbrowns, sausage, bacon & toast. It was good, bacon was well cooked as was the sausage ( something that doesn't always happen in WDW).My husband wasn't in the mood for breakfast so he had the Casear salad with chicken. The few sandwich options didn't appeal to him. Our server was good which hasn't always been our experience here. As another review said the Grand Mimosa is a good size drink and I recommend it.

The French dip was very good, and my son enjoyed the braised pork. I like the fact that all you have to do is sit down, and the food is brought to you. This is helpful when you have small children or a larger party.
Pros:
Ability to order food in advance, not having to carry food to table, refills on drinksCons:

We shared the rack of ribs and a salad. Ribs were very good as was the macaroni & cheese side we got with it. It is a hybrid counter service,
you order at the counter get your drinks or cup but they bring the food to you. We were also asked if we wanted or needed anything else. The ribs were enough for both of us and next time will get another side or appetizer instead of an entree salad. We did leave a cash tip at the table, we dud the same at other Quick Service where they brought out the foid & checked on us.
