Our favorite Disney quick service restaurant by far! The food is really good and we love all the outdoor seating locations. Especially down by the water.

Hands down one of the best character meals we had. I ordered the Flynn's feast and my husband ordered the Royal Breakfast. Basically mine had eggs, potatoes, ham, bacon and sausage and his had steak, potatoes and an egg torte.
We both loved the food and would have gone back for the food alone. The characters were great and very interactive.
We had a great server and the food didn't take very long at all. The pastry dish before the meal was great.
The only thing we didn't like was the check in area and the bathroom set up.
Pros:
Food and characters were amazing. Some of the best wait staff cast members I have ever seen. Great atmosphere.Cons:
The check in area is too small. It was very crowded and loud. Good thing we didn't have to wait very long. The bathrooms are past that busy, over crowded check in/waiting area. You have to squeeze through the crowd to get to them.Review of 1900 Park Fare Character Dinner

We had a late night reversation at 1900 park fare for 7:30pm but didn't get seated until well after 8pm. The waiting wasn't a big deal. We stepped outside and watched frozen while we waited. The problem was getting into the Grand Floridian at all. We seriously waited at the resort gate entrance for over 20 minutes. It was so packed because of the ginger bread display I think.
Our server was rushed and over loaded with tables but he still did a great job. The step sisters and step mother were hilarious and great fun. The only thing I wish was different is if they cast a more age appropriate step mother. While the actress did a great job in her role, it was very obvious she could pay a more convincing princess due to her youth and beauty. We didn't stay around to see Cinderella and her Prince so I can't give any feedback on them.
The drink I had was fruity and great. The food was average for buffet food. Hardly worth the price but you are paying for the characters not the meal.
It was a fun night but there were draw backs. Too crowded, food could have been warmer, we could have been seated sooner and the ladies bathroom was laughable.
Pros:
Average food, good dessert selection, great mixed drinks, great server.Cons:
Loud/crowded in both the restaurant and the resort in general. Food was cold. Only 3 toilets in the womens bathroom and a poorly placed changing table.Review of Mara - Jambo House

I was so disappointed in this restaurant. I only liked 1 of the sauces from the bread service and my husband only liked 3. The drinks were too strong, the food was over priced and over seasoned. The service was mediocre. It was also obnoxiously loud.

I really liked all the options they had. Never had to stand in the check out line for long. Not so much at the serving stations. They had lots of dessert and beverage options that were awesome.
Pros:
Lots of variety, food was always good.Cons:

Great atmosphere, friendly servers, over priced! We were very disappointed with the portion size. The bolognese was more like an appetizer than an entree. People next to us ordered spaghetti amp meatballs for their daughter which was double the size of my bolognese! 3-4 mouthfuls, and it was gone! We both left hungry! Such a ripoff!

6 of us dressed up and went "fancy" for one meal during our 9 day trip. I give it a 10 star rating, it was so amazing. First you check in downstairs and they come get you and you go up in a private elevator right to the restaurant. When we arrived, our table was waiting for us, they brought us right over. The first thing you notice is the amazing view! We arrived at 6pm, our meal lasted 2 hours, then afterward we watched the fireworkd/Happily Ever After show at Magic Kingdom from the observation deck. It was breathtaking. We used the dining plan, prices would be over our budget otherwise. Our server was amazing, and it felt like he was just there for us. After taking our drink orders, ( my mom ordered coffee, they grind it tableside and serve it with real sugar cubes), they bring out sourdough bread served with warm herbed oil, this was so good we had to force ourselves to say no when our server asked if we wanted more ( we knew we had a lot of food to eat!) We all ordered the Cowboy Cut 19oz ribeye steak. We have different tastes in how well the meat is done, but they all came out perfect. You could cut the steak with a fork. It was so juicy and seasoned just right. It was served with honey saffron-glazed carrots and aged Gouda macaroni and cheese. Wow, the mac n cheese was so good! There was so much food, only one of our group was able to finish the whole steak. For dessert we ordered Warm Valrhona Chocolate cake, and i had the carrot cheesecake. Was very good and even though we were so full, we at least tried it! We were not rushed at all during our meal, and we also didn't feel like we were waiting for food either. It was just the perfect experience. We finished up just at the fireworks and Happliy Ever after was starting. We watched from the Observation Deck and it was so amazing. My mom is afraid of heights, so she stood inside and watched through the floor to ceiling windows, all of a sudden our server walked up behind her with a chair for her to sit in! If we use the dining plan we will definitely visit again. This was an amazing experience.
Pros:
Food, view, service, everythingCons:
was hard to get an ADR, i started exactly 180 days out, and i signed up for 2 different ADR help sites. We actually got our ADR one day before we ate there using the Touring Plans app.Review of Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe

We visited here for the first time back in 2000 and make it a point to stop everytime we vacation at Disney. This place is huge, so even if there is a line, you can always find a seat. There is a stage with some outdated characters singing, however the kids still enjoy it! We order burgers and our favorite part is the toppings bar, anything and everything you could want on a burger. Find a table, spread out, let the kids make their burgers then watch the show while the adults sort of regroup and get a little rest. strawberry lemonade slushy is always good, love it here. My daughter in law ordered the loaded fries, i did not try them but she said they were amazing!
Pros:
Toppings bar! Large dining room, stage with singing characters for the kids. Even though its loud, its a nice place to relax and regroup, can people watch if you sit by a window.Cons:
only issue was we pre-ordered through the disney app, on MDE, and they could not find our order right away. There was some glitch, however they got the manager out right away and she took care of it for us and made sure our dining credits were correct.Review of Be Our Guest - Counter Service Breakfast

We split up our group of 10 into 3 smaller groups bc it was so busy, theres a system to ordering/seating/eating. Once we ordered, got our drinks and sat down, we waited for servers pushing carts around to bring us our food. We were all seated in different areas since it was so busy. The drink station is too small for the volume of diners,. There was a line, and you have to get straws, napkins, salt/pepper, etc. They 'misplaced" two of our meals, they ended up reordering and finally came out just as two of us were finishing, they did bring two fast passes and apologized for the wait. We all ordered the Feast A La Gaston. The food was very good, however we used our dining plan credits, I would not pay the $25 per plate price. Way to expensive. The atmosphere is very cool here. Just beautiful. It was hard to see everything because of the tables and so many people walking around. It felt awkward to walk around and take pictures, you would have to stand in front of tables where people are eating.
