Review of Theme Park Photo Pass

We have bought Photopass for our last 3 Disney trips and have found it to be a great service in the past. Not this time, however!
There were very few photographers out. The lines for the ones you could find were very long. We were not offered any Magic Shots. The ride photos now have boarders & stickers already applied when you go to download them and you can’t remove them. This makes it really difficult to edit your ride photo to focus on your family. I didn’t spend $169 to get ride photos of other families. I’m just not sure I could continue to recommend this service
Pros:

This was the 1st time we stayed at BC. Overall, our party of 4 was pleased with our stay. When we got to the hotel our room was ready. We got 2606, which was an accessible room. My initial thought was to change to a regular room the next day. However, my family liked the larger layout of the accessible room. The room was huge! My DD had a full size fold out and DS was able to have the other bed to himself. There was a very large balcony with a view of some garden and the covered outdoor seating for the BC Marketplace. The only complaint with the room was that the bathroom didn’t have the split design that is common at Deluxe resorts.
The hotel amenities are the same as most Disney Deluxe resorts. There was a QS that had basic but good food choices, though we only had breakfast. One TS Cape May, it has a character breakfast buffet in the mornings and a seafood buffet at night. The character buffet is good, we’ve been twice and had good service, food & character experience each time. Then there is Hurricane Hannah’s at the pool which had good service basic food. There is a lounge Crew’s Cup which offers a standard drink menu and some small plates. The drinks were well made and our server was friendly. We were unable to get into Beaches & Cream- this is a very popular spot and you will probably need reservations 180 days in advance if you want to eat here.
Stormalong Bay is the best pool at WDW. It was very cold the week we visited, so we didn’t get to use the pool as much as we would like but I will definitely go back during a warmer time to enjoy it. There was a lot of seating both tables & loungers.
The lobby during the holidays has a wonderful gingerbread carousel. There is a lot of traffic to see it and wait for Cape May.
The only real complaint was the inconsistent mousekeeping. There were two different days that we had to call for cleaning after 5 pm. That was unexpected. I would highly recommend BC during the warmer months for the pool. I would not recommend trying the walk to HS at this time. It took 30 minutes just to get to the gate but once the construction is completed and the walk to HS is more manageable, this would be a top pick for our family
Pros:
Close to EPCOT, theming, cast members POOL!!Cons:

We ate here the first night of our trip. DS was very busy that night and the line was out the door. I would recommend using the Mobile Ordering. My DD & I split the Southern Burger and fries. The burger was delicious, spicy but not overly so. The fries crispy and good. My DH & DS each had a classic burger with fries. Everyone agreed that these burgers were some of the best on Disney property and the fries were great! I would Definitely go back but use mobile ordering

This was a eat because it’s were you are choice. The food was very average burgers, nuggets & salad. I used the mobile ordering which was great! They did have some unadvertised items on the mobile order so that is a benefit. Go here if you just can’t make it to World Showcase
Pros:
Mobile Ordering, quite seating upstairsCons:

This tour was the highlight of the trip for my husband and myself.
The night viewers are easy to use and it is really cool to see the animals interacting at night.
Our tour guide was AJ and she did a fantastic job explaining the lives of the animals and answering questions. The driver was so great too but unfortunately I forgot her name.
We went in December and unfortunately it was too cold for the giraffes to be out. So the tour guide arranged for us to go back stage in the giraffe barn!!! It was the coolest experience ever. They even had baby giraffes in there.
It was a small group so we didn't feel over crowded. Everyone got a glue in the dark safari pin at the end as well.
I cannot even begin to tell you how worth while this tour is.
Pros:
Everything! The animals, the guides and the whole experience.Cons:

The lines were long and the cast members were straight up rude. The tried to rush through the order and I had to repeat myself several times for them to get my order correct. The whole time I was getting a nasty look from the cast member taking my order. I received at least 2 eye rolls.
Before you start thinking I had some complex Starbucks order, I want you to know what we got. One cinnamon roll to go. Yup, all of this drama was over a cinnamon roll.
Pros:
The cinnamon roll was huge.Cons:

We had a late lunch here that was delightful. The food was very good. We loved the fish and all the dessert options. So much good food to choose from.
We got to see all of the characters right away and even got to hangout with goofy twice. The characters were extra amazing when interacting with small kids.
Our waitress was helpful and efficient but not overly friendly. Which was slightly offputting but not enough to make a bad impression. It was however super loud! We were seated at a two person table surrounded by large party tables all for 6 or more. All with loud, screaming kids.
We also had to wait 20 minutes after our reservation time even though we showed up 15 minutes early.
I would give it an 8 for our last visit. My guess is with a more happy, energetic waitress and less rambunctious table guests, it could be higher.

The food here is terrible. I am not sure why everyone loves this place but it isn't my cup of tea.
The sauces and seasonings are way too strong. So are the drinks. The seating has so many restrictions posted on the tables it is hard to find a seat even when it isn't busy.
The cast members didn't seem to like their jobs at all and it showed in their experiences.
Pros:
The dessert was pretty good.Cons:
