It seems the quality of DVC resorts has taken a downturn. After OKW, the size of DVC resort rooms has continued to decrease. The \"living room\" area is very small and It is difficult to imagine a family of six eating at the small table provided in the \"dining area\". My home resort is OKW which has, admittedly, the largest rooms of all DVC properties. Coincidentally, it is the first DVC resort. One an only assume, imaagineers realized smaller units translates into more units; hence the reduction in size.
Putting the size of the unit aside, housekeeping has also declined over the 24 years I have been a DVC member. In early ears, units were impeccably clean on check-in and all amenities worked. On my most recent trip, the faucet in the kitchen sink was leaking an had to be repaired by maintenance, very quick response, the shower head in the master bath was immobile and the sliding door to the balcony had to be repaired as well. On occupying the room, it was rather obvious housekeeping had done only a cursory clean of the unit, as dust was readily observed on the tops of furniture, small bits of trash were on the floors and bathrooms were in need of attention. Again, all things which would not have occurred in previous years.
Finally, bus service to Saratoga Springs has not improved since my first stay in 2007. Buses are still overloaded by the time they reach appropriate stops and some drivers are not exactly customer service oriented; they do not announce stops or even allow the programed announcer do so
Pros:
Convenient to Disney Springs, if a big part of your vacation plans Convenient to offsite grocery stores and pharmacies, if neededCons:
Distance from all park areas, long \"tours\" of resort to get to bus stops. I would strongly advise using either Uber or Lyft service, if possible, for returns to the resort. Use regular Lyft X service as opposed to Minnie Van; good service for less than half the cost. Overall, a very disappointing stay for a DVC member of almost 25 years. I will not stay at this resort again.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 12/28/2019

Probably theleast \"Disney\" resort on the grounds. Full of convention folks and has some of the worst dining around. The main pool is great but very hard to get to as it is far from most rooms. Thumbs down!!
Pros:
Good main poolCons:

We ate here for dinner and it was truly awful! The food was horrible. They didn't play Christmas music. The characters have no handlers to take pictures. Four years ago they served tasty adorable Christmas desserts. Now the desserts are not even worth eating. I'll never return
Pros:
The bread was good. The parmesan cheese was good.Cons:

I got the side cesar salad and added chicken. I got a whole chicken breast and it was the best chicken I have ever had. Not dry, seasoned perfectly. I've had the steak before too and it never disappoints. The Moulton lava cake is the beat dessert by far! The views are amazing and the staff was great!!!
Pros:
Great views, great food, great staffCons:

We had a 9 person family dinner there in October 2019. We arrived 15 minutes before our reserved time and were seated just prior to reservation time. Food was fantastic and service was excellent. Highly recommend!

Good place for large groupCons:

We had a nice dinner here. The sirloin steak and scallops were quite good. My son had the lobster thermidor burger and really enjoyed it. Husband had steak that was ok - just a little tough cut of meat.
Pros:
Great break and escape on a Magic Kingdom day. Good service. Well managed.Cons:

We ate here Christmas Day and were really disappointed. It was a pre fixe meal. I ordered a glass of Merlot and they were out. My husband ordered Pinot noir and was served Pinot Gris. The salad arrived without serving tongs and the waitress disappeared before we could ask for them. Then the skillet dinner arrived before we could eat salad. The food was subpar (to be polite) and the special holiday dessert was a joke - a bland pumpkin cheesecake in a tart shell. Blah. I recommend avoiding this restaurant.
