My favorite of all rides at WDW. The first time I rode it I couldn't stop thinking about it and went back in line to ride it again. You really do think you're flying and honestly it doesn't even matter what the backstory of the ride is or if you were a fan of the movie or even know what the movie is. If you ever read fantasy stories about dragons and dreamed of riding on their backs, this is a ride you want to stand in line for because it's the closest you're going to get on this planet at least.
Pros:
The experience of flying on the back of a creature through a beautiful landscape.Cons:
Long lines. Try to get a fastpass if you can. Sometimes, when you are having lunch minding your business and refreshing the MyDisneyExperience app, one will pop up so watch for it and grab it. The queue is well designed and interesting but by the time you are being decontaminated you just want on the ride. Ride vehicle is like a speedbike with a restraint that locks you in place - definitely try the test vehicle at the front for comfort before you stand in that line.Review of Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail

I love Gorilla falls trail, it's my favorite of the animal trails at Animal Kingdom. I like the zebras and meerkats, the meerkats are so fun to watch and the cast stationed where you can watch them have a lot of good information on their social structure as well as information on Africa in general. The gorillas are great fun, and this winter there was a baby gorilla there that was adorable.
Pros:
Animals. Gorillas usually are near the glass partition so you can see them and the meerkats run around so there is a lot to watch. This trail has more chances of getting good views of animals than others.Cons:
The gorilla area, especially, gets crowded because the gorillas are very popular so you have to wait a bit to get to the front to see them.Review of Discovery Island Trails

Because I live in Orlando I can take my time at the parks and go whenever I like so Animal Kingdom is one of my favorite parks to visit because you can walk around and see things and animals no matter how busy the park is otherwise. The Discovery Island trails are a great place to get a coffee and walk around especially in the mornings to see the different animals and also Pocahontas.
Pros:
Usually not busy, some interesting animals, good views of the roots of the Tree of Life. My favorite animals on the trails are the kangaroosCons:

Ok the food is good, but it’s no Ohana. BUT you get a TON of princesses and it is only one credit on the DDP. So it’s worth it
