We stayed at Pop Century from October 11-16. Trying the Disney transportation was definitely an experience. The schedules on the link or at the bus stop either never showed or were completely inaccurate. The wait was long. Seems like whatever bus we were waiting on would take 20-30 minutes. We had to leave an hour before we wanted to arrive at a park. However, after a tiring day, you didn't have to drive or get lost, but you did have to sit or stand extra close to other people.

It's so convenient to walk out the front of my hotel and catch a bus to one of the parks or Disney Springs

Enjoy the convenience of not having to drive once we are in the parks or hotels.

Do not enjoy having to stand up or being crowded. Hopefully, with the Skyliner, fewer people would use the buses. Either way, I wish that at the end of the night more and more buses would be running. The bus system is the best way of getting around the WDW Resort. It's nice to sit back and relax and let someone drive you around. No need to rent a car and drive. Just sit back and enjoy your Magical Vacation!
Pros:
The buses are on time and run non-stop most of the day and night. You will need to see bus schedule for exact times.Cons:

The resort buses at Pop Century are the best. Once they pick you up at the single pick up spot in front of the hotel, the bus goes directly to the chosen park. Morning transportation is great because the buses are lined up and roll in one behind the other. They usually use the extra long buses for the morning trip to the Magic Kingdom

The buses aren't the funnest way to travel, but Disney has a pretty good system considering all the resorts and people. Overall it's very reliable and when one resort gets slammed with people, they are pretty good about calling in extra buses. But if you just miss a bus at your resort and it's not during opening hours, you many have to wait a bit for the next bus. If you don't like to stand, leave the park an hour before closing. In the morning, you can wait for the next bus if you don't want to stand. If you don't have your own car, you are pretty dependent on Disney buses.

The bus system is stressed. Wait times have been terrible on the last trip. They just pack people in.
