Victor Da Costa Mendoza Celebrates a Fairy Tale Win at the 10th Annual Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend Presented by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at Walt Disney World Resort

Dani Cook of Ft. Collins, CO, won the women's division of the 10th annual Disney Princess Half Marathon with a time of 1:20:31. Victor Da Costa Mendoza from Spain won the men's division in 1:19:03. More than 53,000 runners participated in the weekend's events, with more than 25,000 in the half marathon alone.

New Lamplight Lounge to Open June 23 at Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure Park

Lamplight Lounge will serve California casual gastro-pub cuisine that is playfully presented, along with unique signature cocktails and a guest-favorite: Lobster Nachos. The seaside lounge will contain a full bar with picturesque waterfront views of Paradise Bay from both upstairs and downstairs. At night, outdoor seating will provide views of the illuminated Pixar Pier and "World of Color."

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Honors Two Decades of Wild Encounters With 20th Anniversary Celebration

Disney's Animal Kingdom marked its 20th anniversary on Earth Day, April 22, by launching an expanded Party for the Planet celebration that will run through May 5. To commemorate the milestone year, the 500-acre adventure park is offering animal encounters, family-friendly activities, specialty desserts and more. In addition, the new show UP! A Great Bird Adventure, featuring characters from the Disney-Pixar film UP, debuted on April 22.

The new prix fixe dinner menu boasts a variety of delectable French-inspired dishes and new offerings. This unique experience will make you feel like royalty with a three-course dinner that includes your choice of appetizer and entree, followed by a personal dessert platter.

U2 Tribute Band Elevation to Rock Mighty St. Patrick’s Festival at Raglan Road

The 2018 Mighty St. Patrick's Festival will be held at Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant in Disney Springs this coming March 16-18. Award-winning bands, including U2 tribute band Elevation and traditional Irish band The Maguires, are lined up for three nonstop days of live music, Irish dance, first-rate food and fun. Guests can enjoy a selection of beers, spirits and craft cocktails to pair with pub grub and more elegant Irish fare while musicians and dancers perform on multiple stages, indoors and out, from noon-1:30 a.m. March 16 and 10 a.m. until 1:30 a.m. March 17 and 18. On St. Patrick's Day, guests will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis with a cover charge of $10 for each guest age 18 and older. Reservations can be booked for other festival days by calling 407-938-0300. The entertainment schedule will be posted at raglanroad.com.
