If you’ve been a Disney World fan for a while, then you remember virtual queues. You’d wake up at 7 AM on the dot, load up the My Disney Experience app, and hope for a spot on your favorite ride.
Virtual Queues for big-ticket attractions like TRON Lightcycle / Run, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind have been phased out at Disney World – until the start of Cool Kid Summer!
When Bluey’s Wild World opens at Animal Kingdom on May 26th, the virtual queue will come back! You must join the virtual queue to experience Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station, the Wildlife Express Train, Jumping Junction, and the Animal Care experiences at Conservation Station.
You can request to join the virtual queue via the My Disney Experience app at either 7 AM or 10 AM. To join at 7 AM, you’ll need a theme park reservation for Animal Kingdom, but you can be anywhere – you don’t need to be inside the park. To join the virtual queue at 10 AM, you must be scanned into Animal Kingdom.
It’s important to note that for popular attractions, a virtual queue isn’t guaranteed. If you don’t get a virtual queue at the 10 AM registration, you won’t be able to go to Conservation Station that day. Disney has stated that a standby queue will not be available at the opening on May 26th, but will open a standby queue at a later date.
