Sleepy Hollow Refreshments doesn’t get nearly enough attention, and that’s honestly a shame.

Tucked right at the edge of Liberty Square near the bridge to Fantasyland, this walk-up window sits in one of the best high-traffic spots in Magic Kingdom and still manages to fly under the radar for most guests. We stopped by recently to try a couple of the menu staples, and we’re here to tell you it deserves a much bigger spot on your snack rotation.
Background
Sleepy Hollow Refreshments is tucked along the edge of Liberty Square in Magic Kingdom, right near the bridge leading into the land. It leans into the sleepy, colonial village aesthetic with a small stand designed to look like a rustic cottage, which makes it easy to walk right past if you are not paying attention.

This is a quick service location with outdoor ordering and limited seating nearby. There is no indoor dining here, so you are grabbing your food and finding a place to sit or snack on the go. The menu rotates slightly over time, but it is best known for its waffles and simple snack options.

Here’s what you need to know about dining at this restaurant.
Atmosphere
The vibe here is low-key and efficient, which can feel like a relief in a park that is often packed with high-energy crowds. You’re not dealing with a loud dining room or a complicated ordering system. It is a walk-up window with mobile ordering available, and things tend to move quickly.

Seating is mostly outdoor and somewhat limited, with a few nearby tables and plenty of people opting to eat while walking. It is not the best option if you are looking for a long, relaxed break, but it works perfectly for a quick recharge.

The menu is fairly simple, which actually works in its favor. You will find sweet and savory waffles, light snacks, and a handful of drinks. It’s approachable for picky eaters, especially with options like plain waffles or basic chips, but it still offers enough flavor for those who want something a little more interesting. There are no elaborate entrees here, but that’s not the point. This is a grab-and-go spot that fills a very specific need during a busy park day.

But enough about that, what are we eating?!
Food & Drinks
We tried two items during our visit, and both leaned into what Sleepy Hollow does best: simple food executed well.
House-made Chips – $3.29
This is one of those items that feels like a hidden gem, mostly because it’s not even listed on the main menu boards outside. You’ll find it on mobile order, and we had no problem ordering it directly at the window.

The chips are consistently crunchy, which isn’t always a given with house-made versions. There were no undercooked or chewy pieces in the batch we got, and each chip had a solid, even fry. They also weren’t greasy, which made them easy to snack on without that heavy, oily aftertaste.

The salt level was light overall, though it did vary slightly from chip to chip. Some had a bit more punch, while others were more subtle. There are no extra seasonings here, so what you are getting is a straightforward potato chip experience.

The portion size felt decent for one adult, though it does seem like it may have shrunk slightly compared to past visits. Even so, it is still a great option for a quick, portable snack. It is easy to carry, not messy, and perfect for handing off to kids who need something to hold them over between meals.
Waffle with Berries, Powdered Sugar, and Whipped Cream – $8.79
This is one of Sleepy Hollow’s staple items, and it continues to deliver when you need a reliable breakfast or snack option.

The waffle itself is surprisingly delicate. If you’re used to the heavier Mickey waffles around the parks, this is the complete opposite. It has a thin, crisp edge that gives way to a soft, almost airy center. That texture makes it feel lighter, which is a big plus in the Florida heat.

The berries add a fresh, slightly tart contrast to the sweetness of the powdered sugar and whipped cream. Everything works together nicely, but there is one important tip here. You need to control the syrup. If you pour too much on, the waffle will lose its structure quickly and turn soggy, and the flavor balance will lean too far into pure sweetness.

This is definitely shareable for two people, especially if you are looking for a lighter option. It is filling without being overwhelming, and it is easy to split while taking a quick break nearby.

Sleepy Hollow Restaurant
Services: Take Out or Walk-up Window
Sleepy Hollow Refreshments continues to prove that not every great Disney snack needs a massive line or a viral moment. The food is simple, consistent, and surprisingly satisfying, especially when you just need something quick and dependable in the middle of a busy day.
The waffle remains the standout, but the house-made chips are an easy win that more people should know about. This is the kind of place that quietly earns a spot in your regular park routine.

In the meantime, we’ll be on the lookout for more restaurant updates from Disney World and beyond. Make sure you stay tuned to AllEars for the latest Disney news and more!
