We love heading to Aloha Isle for their DOLE Whip cups, floats, and sundaes, but the spot could look totally different soon!

Walt Disney Imagineering just filed a Notice of Commencement permit for Aloha Isle, the popular quick-service DOLE Whip counter in Magic Kingdom. They’re installing new signage on the stand.

Disney has partnered with Kentavo for the new signage, which has installed signs at “it’s a small world,” Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure. Their most recent restaurant installation at Disney is Ice Cold Hydraulics at Hollywood Studios.

Disney hasn’t announced a closure for Aloha Isle at this time. It’s possible they can install the signs overnight, no closure required! It’s also possible they could install a new sign…that looks exactly the same but a bit newer! Just in case there would be a future closure, stay tuned to AllEars for more updates.

If Aloha Isle were to close, you can still find DOLE Whip inside Magic Kingdom. Head to Sunshine Tree Terrace in Adventureland for multiple fruity DOLE Whip flavors and floats. Unlike Aloha Isle, you can mobile order here and skip the line!
