We have all been there: it’s peak lunch rush, the park is crowded, and now, after standing in lines for rides all morning, we’re standing in a line for 20 minutes to order our food. By the time you actually get your meal, your party is hangry and annoyed. That’s why we recommend using Mobile Order at quick service restaurants.

Guests can Mobile Order for quick-service restaurants through the MyDisney Experience app, which allows food orders to be placed in advance and picked up at the restaurant. While many guests are already using this feature, there is a trick to make it even more convenient for you.

When you place a Mobile Order, you have to select a pick-up time window. If you aren’t seeing a mobile order return time that suits you, take the one that is currently being offered and process your order. Once your order is placed, you have the option to modify that time to something potentially earlier or later.

Our reporters have started using this hack all the time if a return of “now” is not offered, and in their experience, they are consistently getting served immediately because it finally pops up as an option to modify.

We love this hack because it is zero risk. After all, you also have the option to cancel the order up until you hit “prepare my food” if you choose to go somewhere else. This can allow you to grab your food early and get back to having fun in the park.
