Disney World may be in full swing of celebrating the holidays, but they have made a few big announcements in November.

The AllEars team has been to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Disney Jollywood Nights this year. We’ve been eating the holiday treats and enjoying the decorations all around the resort. However, in the middle of all of the excitement, Disney World announced 5 big pieces of news in November that we need to talk about.
1. New Year’s Eve Fireworks
There are going to be a few ways for guests to ring in the new year at Disney World. In Magic Kingdom, you’ll have two chances to experience the New Year’s Eve fireworks. The Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks will happen on December 30th and December 31st at 7:30 PM and 11:50 PM.

In EPCOT, Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration will happen at 11:54 PM, while Luminous: The Symphony of Us will play at 6:30 PM the same evening.

If you want to skip the New Year’s Eve crowds in EPCOT and Magic Kingdom, you might want to head on over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where you’ll be able to enjoy a special New Year’s Eve fireworks show. The show will happen on December 31st at 11:57 PM.

2. Dynamic Pricing Might Be Coming
Recently, Disney CFO Hugh Johnson suggested that dynamic pricing could be coming to Disney World soon. During the Wells Fargo Technology, Media, and Telecom Summit, he suggested that dynamic pricing could be coming to U.S. theme parks soon. He stated that Disney has been testing out dynamic pricing at Disneyland Paris, and it could make its way to the domestic parks over the next few years as the company continues to work on the system.

Dynamic Pricing is pricing based on demand, which means park tickets are higher when demand for those parks is greater. At Disneyland Paris, that meant the end of preset pricing for set dates. Instead, single-day ticket prices vary year-round.

3. This Disney Transportation Will Be Closed
Free transportation at Disney resorts is a huge perk for guests, so that’s why this news is important! From January 12th, 2026, to April 2026, the boat dock at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will undergo routine maintenance. Boat transportation will temporarily be suspended from January 12th to January 30th. You can use the buses to get to the Magic Kingdom and any of the other parks you’re trying to go to.

4. Disney on Broadway Schedule
We are looking forward to the EPCOT Festival of the Arts, which will run from January 16th through February 23rd. One of our favorite parts of that festival is the Disney on Broadway concert series. The 2026 lineup for Disney on Broadway will feature six NEW performers who will be performing hits from The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and more. Here’s the full schedule:
- Isabelle McCalla (NEW) (Aladdin) and Adam Jacobs (Aladdin): January 16th, 18th, 19th, 22nd, 24th, 26th, and 27th

5. A New Bar Opened
Disney World’s latest lounge, The Perch at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, officially opened in November! The Sunshine State Rum Sazerac, which features Siesta Key Coffee Rum, Demerara, Absinthe Rinse, Peychaud’s Bitters, and lemon essence, has become one of our favorite drinks at Disney World. The next time you’re at Disney’s Grand Floridian, be sure to stop by for a drink.
