So…is the curse of abandoned ideas finally broken in Disney Springs?! Does anyone remember the old DisneyQuest experience, or the NBA Experience in Disney Springs? Well, those both closed, and the building sat empty and unused for half a decade. Luckily, something NEW is finally one the way — we can’t put into words how excited we are that Level99 will soon be coming to the shopping and dining district.

We’ve finally seen some updates at the location in Disney World — it turns out this new location is hiring! Before we get into specifics, though, we should probably properly introduce the idea behind Level99.
What is Level99, you ask? This franchise is a real-world gaming venue designed for adults, featuring over 50 mental and physical challenges in artistic environments. You can dive into a ninja warrior obstacle course, participate in mental logic puzzles, and everything in between, all ranging between 1 and 4 minutes. Players earn rewards, climb the leaderboard, and make progress, and each time they return, the game remembers where they left off! It’s also completely up to you if you’d like to do the same game over and over, or move on to various games.

As it turns out, Level99 in Disney Springs is currently hiring for two positions for its opening day team. The first is a Director of Operations, which will be a full-time position on-site, and the second is a Venue Technician, which will also be a full-time on-site position.

These job listings also give us an insight into how Disney and Level99 expect this location to operate. In the Director of Operations listing, it states that this person will be “responsible for ensuring a best-in-class customer experience for nearly 500,000 guests per year by managing daily operations of our entertainment, bar, and fast-casual food venue, which combined spans over 45,000 square feet.” They will also lead a team of 100+ team members. Whew — now that’s a busy business!

As for the Venue Technician position, Level99 lists that this person will work closely with the “Venue Technician Lead to ensure a best-in-class gameplay experience for Level99 guests. You will work in the trenches, hands-on, to assist with the maintenance, repair, improvement, and replacement of Level99’s attractions and Entertainment facilities.” What’s even cooler is that they added a video of a day in the life of a Venue Tech at one of their other locations, which you can check out here.
