While we still may be mourning the loss of DisneyQuest in Disney Springs — what we wouldn’t give to experience Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for Buccaneer Gold one more time — Disney just announced a brand-new experience coming to Disney Springs!

DisneyQuest at Disney Springs has been closed for a bit, since 2017, to be exact. When Disney Quest closed, the NBA Experience took its place in Disney Springs. The NBA Experience opened in August 2019, then closed when the rest of Disney World closed for the pandemic and never reopened.
We have been eagerly hoping that something great will replace the NBA Experience. It has been YEARS since something operated in the huge space on the West Side of Disney Springs. Well, we now know what will be moving in!

It was recently announced that LEVEL99 will be coming to Disney Springs. If you live in Natick or Providence, you may know exactly what this interactive, social entertainment experience is. However, if you don’t live near a LEVEL99 location, you may be wondering, what even is LEVEL99?

Have no fear; we are here to tell you what to expect with LEVEL99’s newest location on the West Side of Disney Springs. For starters, let’s discuss what LEVEL99 is. LEVEL99 is a “world of challenges.” It is a destination for adults with “real-world, interactive social gaming with over 50 physical and mental challenges set in artistic environments.”

Within LEVEL99, there are three different categories of challenges. The first is challenge rooms, which will have you working with your team of 2-6 players to test your body and mind. These challenges are quick — usually 1-4 minutes each — and will challenge your team to work together.

Next up, you can also take part in arena duels. The Duels will have you facing off against your friends in various challenges. There is also an art hunt that features art installations by local artists, where you will be searching, solving, and discovering.

But that’s not all! LEVEL99 also serves hand-crafted food and drinks. It is known for its craft beers, cocktails, and Detroit-style pizza. We spotted lots of variety on their menu, including Wagyu burgers, pretzels, mac & cheese, wings, nachos, salads, and much more. You can have fun completing the challenges and then stop by for a delicious meal afterward!

The company offers several different ticket options to participate in Level 99’s fun. These are the options available at their current locations, so they might be different at the Disney Springs location. However, we think they likely give us a good idea of what to expect. You can choose from a 2-hour ticket for $35.99, a 4-hour ticket for $45.99, or an all-day ticket for $55.99.

LEVEL99 currently has two locations: Providence, Rhode Island, and Natick, Massachusetts. It also plans to build locations in Tysons Corner Center in Virginia and West Hartford, Connecticut. The LEVEL99 location is Disney Springs, which will be the company’s fifth location and the first location in Florida. What can we expect from the Disney Springs location?

The Disney Springs location will be the largest one to date. The venue will be two stories and occupy over 45,000 square feet. It will feature over 60 challenge rooms and duels and will be able to host upwards of 1,000 players. There will even be a two-story bar! LEVEL99 will be going in what used to be the NBA Experience on the West Side of Disney Springs. We have long awaited what would replace the NBA Experience, and we are excited to finally know what to look forward to.

It is important to note that while LEVEL99 is mainly geared towards adults, kids can also partake in the challenges. Anyone under 16 needs an adult present at all times during the experience. LEVEL99 also notes that many games are physically and mentally demanding. They recommend that children be at least 10 years old or older to fully enjoy the experience. Younger kids often struggle to complete the challenges.

We don’t know when it will be opening just yet, but we will keep you updated as we learn more about LEVEL99. While we wait for the opening of LEVEL99, make sure you check out these 20 things you must do in Disney Springs:
