Anyone else desperately waiting for those cooler temperatures to hit — goodbye, summer! — and already planning what you want your house to look like, all decorated for the holiday season? (Yes, I know it’s only September; let me live in my fantasy world, please.)

While it may be far too early to celebrate the upcoming winter holidays since it’s, well, you know, almost fall and that’s a whole other season to get through, it’s never too early to start planning ahead for a Disneyland holiday vacation! We suggest you plan ahead for Disney trips, because there’s so much to think through, book, and work into your plan for each day. If you know you’ll be spending a holiday vacation at Disneyland later this year, there’s a dining package that may be worth the cost!
Disneyland recently confirmed that many offerings are returning for this season, such as Holidays at the Disneyland Resort, Disney Festival of Holidays, and Disney ¡Viva Navidad!, which will begin November 14th and last through January 7th, 2026.

One of the best parts of the holiday season is all the entertainment options around the parks, including A Christmas Fantasy Parade! Yes, the one with the iconic toy soldiers — it’s amazing every year.

Getting a great spot for this parade can be pretty tricky, though, and usually requires sitting or standing in a spot at LEAST an hour ahead of time, and sometimes that’s just not how you want to spend your day (I personally wouldn’t, even though this parade is a must-see for me).

That’s where Disney’s A Christmas Fantasy Parade Dining Package comes in handy! Over at Plaza Inn on Main Street, U.S.A., you can find a dining package that allows you to get a confirmed, reserved spot to see the parade, along with a delicious meal. This dining package will be available from November 16th, 2025, to January 7th, 2026, and bookings will open on September 25th.

Dining times will be between 1 and 3:30 PM each day, and during your meal, you’ll receive a voucher for that day’s second performance of A Christmas Fantasy Parade. Instead of having to wait for an hour to get the best spot, you can arrive at your designated viewing area no earlier than ten minutes prior to the show’s start. The cost is $58 per adult and $32 per child (aged 3-9), not including tax or gratuity.

But what does the lunch menu look like? Is it worth the cost? The adult menu features:
- Herb-roasted chicken with mashed potatoes
- Creamy potato leek soup garnished with fried leeks, chives, and citrus cream
- Buttered haricots verts served with a caramelized onion sauce
- Holiday yule log dessert
- Choice of one beverage: fountain beverage or Dasani water
As for the child menu:
- Chicken tenders
- Creamy mashed potatoes
- Green beans
- Chicken gravy with a Hawaiian roll
- Holiday yule log dessert
- Choice of one beverage: Dasani water or low-fat milk

It’s also important to note that this dining package will NOT be available on the day before Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, November 30 through December 8, Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve.

This is a GREAT way to make sure you 1.) get a great spot for the parade, and 2.) have a great meal in the middle of your park day. If seeing the parade in an ideal spot AND dining at the Plaza Inn appeals to you, we think this could be a great deal.

If you’re not looking for a paid parade viewing area — don’t worry. We have tips! When looking for some of the best views of the parade, grab a spot to watch it near “it’s a small world” Holiday, along the parade route next to the Matterhorn Bobsleds.
