Walt Disney World offers a plethora of dining options, from full sit-down restaurants to on-the-go snacks. Across this spectrum, there are plenty of things we LOVE… and occasionally things we’d never try again!

Recently, I polled my longtime AllEars colleagues to find out the worst culinary decisions they’ve made at Disney World recently, and some of the answers were a bit of a surprise.
*NOTE: Anything involving food is subjective. You may have tried and loved these offerings, and that’s completely valid. It simply wasn’t the case for the members of our team.*
Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich
This sandwich, which is available at El Mercado de Coronado at the Coronado Springs Resort, was a bit of a mess in our team’s recent experience. The mixture of sauces on the sandwich all congealed and melted together, while the chicken wasn’t thick enough to hold them, leading to a messy eating experience.

Kyryll Pork Rinds
Located at Ronto Roasters in Galaxy’s Edge, these salty Star Wars snacks were a bit of a disappointment recently. The pork rinds are “seasoned in a savory blend of ancho chile, cheddar, smoke, and cinnamon.” On paper, they sound interesting, but in practice, our team found that the flavor combination didn’t go well together.

Banana-Nutella Corn Dog
This exclusive Blue Ribbon Corn Dog offering wasn’t terrible. In fact, our reviewer enjoyed it in a vacuum. However, the treat — a banana dipped in cornmeal batter, drizzled with Nutella, and topped with powdered sugar– was a bit too sweet for their taste, making it a “one-and-done” meal.
We will say, though, that members of our team were SO excited for this offering after it was announced that they debated flying out to try it. So it might still be one to try out based on the ingredients alone!

Passion Fruit Hamachi Crudo
This Tiffin’s dish, which is made of passion fruit and sesame leche de tigre, pickled pineapple, cilantro oil, szechuan chili crunch, was incredibly tangy with a strong taste of cilantro. You get the slightly briny seafood flavor on the backend, but mostly this has that citrus freshness with a bit of sour. It was certainly unique, but not something our reviewer would try again.

Blooming Rose
The latest addition to Be Our Guest’s dessert menu is beautiful in appearance, but it doesn’t live up to the iconic Gray Stuff Cupcake that it replaced, making it a definite downgrade.

Cannoli
Our reviewer found the cannoli from Catalina Eddie’s to be “soggy and sad,” which surely isn’t what Disney was aiming for.

We won’t be rushing to try these Disney World snacks again anytime soon. Stay tuned to AllEars for further thoughts on the food offerings from the “Most Magical Place on Earth.”
