Summer in Disney World can get HOT, and we’ll do anything to cool down and beat the heat. One way I love to do that is with refreshing snacks!

Ice cream and shaved ice are two of my favorite ways to cool down, and an AllEars favorite has finally returned to EPCOT. Get ready to book that park reservation, because once you see how tasty this is, you’ll be heading to EPCOT immediately.
Meet the Violet Sake Slushie at Kabuki Cafe in the Japan Pavilion for $15.

The original Violet Sake Slush was at Garden House, and if you were obsessed with that, our AllEars reporter says, “you’re absolutely gonna go bonkers over this.”

It’s like an ICEE but with sake alcohol with a light violet syrup. We dug in with our spoons and felt instant heat relief while still getting a fun drink. The ice melted over time to create a cold drink, which we loved just as much.

You can taste both the sake and the violet syrup, which isn’t overwhelming. We’re wondering if we can add ice cream or some cream to it in the future, as we would love to explore the possibility of creating a kakigori, which is shaved ice with condensed milk.

We recently visited Kabuki Cafe again to try the Mochi-Gori, a kakigori treat topped with a mochi donut. This is another refreshing snack that we loved, and we’re starting to question if we’ve been sleeping on the Japan Pavilion when it comes to snacks.

The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is also around the corner, starting on August 28th, and even more food booths and snacks will be available to dive into.
There are so many more snacks to try, so while we plan our next snack adventure, make sure you keep following AllEars for more!
