NEWS: There's a New Burger Chain That Could Soon Take Over the U.S.

We’ve got fantastic news for plant-based eaters!

There are some pretty good plant-based options in Disney World, but we’re always on the lookout for the latest and greatest, because let’s be honest, the majority of the options out there could still use some work. It looks like there could be a plant-based burger chain on the way, as long as its first location does well!

Molly Baz, a New York Times best-selling author of Cook This Book and More Is More, has just announced that she helped develop the menu for a new plant-based fast food location called Face Plant.

The menu serves up entirely plant-based burgers, shakes, fries, and chicken nuggets, but this wasn’t just done quickly — no, Molly shared that it’s taken FOUR YEARS to come up with the menu and make it just right.

The co-founder of this new restaurant is Matt Plitch, who wanted to create an exceptional and world-altering plant-based fast food burger joint. In Molly’s words, their goal with this new fast food chain is to reverse “the trajectory of global warming by reducing beef consumption in the sector that consumes it most.”

The first location is located in Portland, Oregon, but the plan is to open many more locations across the United States to be enjoyed by everyone. Many commenters have shared that they’ve already visited the location and love the offerings, so we take that as a good sign.
