REVIEW: The Best Drink in Epic Universe Isn’t On The Menu – Here’s How to Order It

It’s aliiiiiive! *insert evil crackle*

We could spend all day in Dark Universe (and we have), but we’ve been obsessed with trying all the different food and snacks they have to offer. All of our wandering around Darkmoor has paid off because we found a secret menu item (but it won’t be too secret after we share it with you!).

After having a fun day with Ygor and Frankenstein’s Monster, we felt like we needed a break from the cobblestone (and heat) and wandered into The Burning Blade Tavern for a drink.

We talked to a bartender who recommended the Crossbow for $14.25, and while you might not see it on the menu, the bartenders and servers will be able to help you out.

This drink is sweet! It’s a combination of cider and mead, which helps cut down on the sweetness because of the tartness they bring. If you can’t decide between a beer or a sweet, syrup drink, try this! We thought the balance was great, and it’s a bit on the stronger side, which made us feel like we got our money’s worth.

If you’re new to the mead world, the Crossbow might be the place to start. The drink has a lower ABV, which is ideal for those who want to try mead without the strong flavor.
