Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary Celebration is in full swing, and there’s so much to explore!

You’ve got new entertainment options you won’t want to miss, a new interactive Key to Disneyland experience that families are loving, and of course, we can’t forget about the snacks. So far, we’ve tried LOTS of the new snacks around the park, but we’ll be honest, we can’t recommend ALL of them.
There are SO many snacks to cover, so let’s dive in!
Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe
Here you can grab the Celebration Matterhorn Macaroon, which is a Coconut Macaroon dipped in white chocolate and sprinkles for $8.29. This got a 5/5 from us — you can’t go wrong with a delicious coconut donut!

You can also grab the 70th Celebration Macaron for $8.29, which is made with vanilla bean buttercream, strawberry jam, fresh strawberry, strawberry whipped topping, and a strawberry crunch. Another perfect 5/5 here — not only does it look adorable, but the strawberry is refreshing, the cake is moist, and it’s perfectly baked.

We also grabbed the Mickey Hat Cookie, which is a cookie dipped in black chocolate with a chocolate decoration for $6.79.

It gets a 4/5 from us — it’s got those hints of vanilla and almond that are classic for a cookie like this, and we adored it all.

Tiana’s Palace
Here you can grab the House-filled Celebration Beignet for $5.99. This is filled with raspberry mousse, buttercream glaze, edible candle, and sprinkles

We’re sorry to say, though, that we don’t recommend these at ALL — it was a huge letdown and a 0/5 for us. It tasted artificial and didn’t have any of the fluff you want from beignets normally.
Tropical Hideaway
At this sweet treat spot, you can grab the Pineapple Upside Down Sundae, which is pineapple DOLE Whip, caramel drizzle, and pineapple upside-down cake topped with a maraschino cherry for $8.49.

This gets a 3/5 from us because while we loved the caramel taste with the pineapple, the cake was soggy, and the texture was therefore way off.

The Golden Horseshoe
Here you’ll find a savory snack — the Cowboy Fries are fries with nacho cheese, sautéed ground beef, burger sauce, and butter pickles for $13.99.

Another perfect 5/5 here — it gave us Big Mac vibes in the best way, and we can’t recommend it enough!

Churro Cart
It’s not a celebration without a special churro! The 70th Celebration Churro is a classic churro rolled in ube sugar and topped with marbled blue raspberry icing drizzle and sprinkles for $7.50.

The combination of ube and raspberry was fantastic here — it gets a 5/5 from us, but keep in mind that it will turn your mouth purple!
Outdoor Vending Location Behind Grizzly River Run
While cotton candy may not sound like the most exciting snack, the Cotton Candy Mango Chile is something you won’t want to miss!

It’s got a bit of a kick from the chili, but it’s not spicy at all! The tartness mixed with the sweetness gives it a great flavor, and we’d give it a perfect 5/5.
Schmoozies
If you’re looking for a classic snack, look no further than the Mickey-shaped Celebration Waffles with strawberry cream filling and topped with sprinkles and powdered sugar for $10.99!

These taste like a Funfetti cake transformed itself into a waffle, and we have no complaints. In fact, they get a 5/5 from us and move to the top of our list for some of the BEST Mickey waffles we’ve had!
Red Rose Taverne
In a fun take on The Gray Stuff, you can grab the 70th Stuff, which is Shortbread cookie with a cookies and cream cake, fresh raspberry, and raspberry jam surrounded with white chocolate mousse and topped with colored sprinkles for $7.29.

This is VERY sweet and rich, but all the flavors work together better than we expected! The white chocolate mousse is especially delicious with its thick but airy frosting texture, and we give this one overall a 4/5.
