Eek! The new trailer for Freakier Friday, the sequel to Freaky Friday, just dropped!
22 years later, we can’t believe this classic Disney movie is coming to the theaters. We’re telling everyone we know — this is a BIG deal to us Disney fans.
Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis will reprise their roles as Annie and Tess in Freakier Friday, which opens in theaters on August 8th. That’s right — this isn’t some Disney Channel Original Movie or a direct-to-Disney+ film…it’s getting a THEATRICAL DEBUT!
Freakier Friday continues the storyline of Freaky Friday, but it looks like everyone grew up, and the whole family is involved.
We know we’ll see some iconic scenes recreated in the new movie, like Lohan’s guitar performance from the original film.
With some of our favorite classics getting live-action makeovers, like Snow White, and sequels to our childhood favorites, like Shrek 5, coming to theaters, we’re SO excited to watch Freakier Friday.
Since this is a Disney movie, we’re going to head to AMC at Disney Springs to get the whole experience! It seems fitting.
