We've Been Waiting for This Epic Universe Announcement for 352 Days, and It Did NOT Disappoint

We’re just over two months away from the opening of Epic Universe, and as each day passes, we’re only getting more and more excited. Ever since we first learned that a How to Train Your Dragon Land was coming to Epic Universe (the news was revealed exactly 352 days from today…but who’s counting?), we’ve been DYING to see what kind of dragons would arrive.

Universal is making sure we’re continuing to look forward to what this new park has to offer by dropping more details and sneak peeks at what we’ll be able to experience, and if you’re especially looking forward to the Isle of Berk, you may want to hold onto something and brace yourself. We just got a first official look at the new Toothless meet and greet on the way AND a closer look at the flying dragons! That’s right. FLYING DRAGONS.

Universal officially released photos from the new Hiccup and Toothless meet-and-greet you’ll be able to experience in Isle of Berk when the new park opens on May 22nd!

We’re already SO impressed by Toothless and can’t wait to see how he moves and interacts with guests in real-time! JUST LOOK AT HIM!

But that’s not all! WESH’s Chopper 2 happened to catch footage of some dragons testing near Epic Universe. They were working with the Hookfang dragon drone, and our jaws were on the FLOOR.

But that’s not all! Recently, some members of the Universal creative team shared some EPIC details about the new Isle of Berk land. We found out that there will be a “full-scale Grump in the Forge who breathes fire” and even a “breathing Snow Wraith.” And fans of the How to Train Your Dragon movies will recognize Toothless’s BABY DRAGONS.
