Both Disney World and Disneyland have a lot going on at the moment, but Disneyland has taken some big steps forward that we need to highlight!

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is preparing to open next month, new stores are coming soon to Downtown Disney, and with the holidays right around the corner, we’ve been wondering when we’ll see decorations pop up. As it turns out, updates on all three of those fronts happened this week!
Disneyland
Over at Disneyland, the first thing we noticed as we walked through New Orleans Square was that holiday decorations had started to go up!

For the most part, it looks like Disney added garland and some wreaths around the storefronts. Seeing as the rest of the park is still heavily decorated for Halloween, it’s a tad jarring!

We expect to see more and more decorations appear throughout this week, with the largest push being the day after Halloween.

Additionally, Bayou Country (formerly Critter Country) is looking GREAT now that all the walls around Tiana’s Bayou Adventure are officially down!

We even got to see people riding the attraction (and seemingly having a great time) — we can’t wait to experience it ourselves on November 15th!

Lastly, there’s also a new announcement on the newly-reopened Disneyland Railroad that talks about Tiana’s Bayou Adventure! When entering the land, one of the announcements shares, in part, “We’re now entering the bayou, home to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Take a sneak peek, and party with Princess Tiana!” Cute, right?

We’re so excited the Disneyland Railroad is back open for guests to enjoy — don’t forget to take a ride the next time you visit!
Disney California Adventure
Over in DCA, we also spotted holiday decorations up at Rushin River!

These are a little more subtle, but they’re still certainly noticeable if you look up.

We have to admit, this is a pretty early jump on the decorations, but we can’t complain!
Downtown Disney
Over in the resort’s shopping and dining district, the walls are now down at the new Confectionary Store!

This new store, which will be called Disney Wonderful World of Sweets, was the former home of Marceline’s Confectionery, which is currently serving some of its offerings from a cart.

This new store will sell “whimsical candy, sweets and treats shop featuring tasty favorites such as churro toffee, caramel apples, sour balls, lollipops, packaged confections and freshly made Werther’s Original Caramel popcorn.” We spoke to a Cast Member, and it seems they’re hoping for this store to be open soon after the new year!

As always, be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for all the latest Disneyland news!
