The BIGGEST Reason Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Is WORTH IT

Pumpkins are up in Magic Kingdom and that can only mean one thing — it’s time to kick off Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!

The event runs on certain nights from August 9th to October 31st and as usual, there is SO much included in the price of a ticket. Not only can you trick or treat around the park, but you can ride attractions with shorter wait times, see exclusive entertainment, and try new themed food. A huge perk to the party is the rare characters you can meet. Let’s take a look at this year’s character meet and greets around the park!

Main Street, U.S.A.

Starting near the front of the park, Jack and Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas are meeting at Town Square Theater. This line gets LONG — it was 120 minutes before the party even officially started!

Also at the Town Square Theater, you can meet Mickey Mouse. But this isn’t any ordinary meet and greet — he is sporting a new outfit this year, along with Minnie!

Fantasyland

Over in Fairytale Garden, meet the stars of Encanto — Mirabel and Bruno! You can usually meet Mirabel here during the day, but during Not-So-Scary, Bruno is joining her!

You can also meet the following characters in Fantasyland:

Anastasia and Drizella
Friends from Alice in Wonderland
Friends from Winnie the Pooh
Belle
Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Minnie Mouse, Goofy
Ariel and Prince Eric

Adventureland

Over in Adventureland, you’ll find some of the most popular characters including:

Friends from Aladdin
Captain Jack Sparrow
Moana

Tomorrowland

Tomorrowland has one star and one star only — it’s Stitch!

We also spotted several villains around the park! Disney said, “Spot more Disney villains across the park than ever before” and they delivered! When we first arrived Cruella was welcoming guests to the party.

Then we spotted some royalty up on the Main Street Train Station! Yes, that’s the Evil Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty!

To our surprise, the Hitchhiking Ghosts from Haunted Mansion appeared in Frontierland after dark! These are some VERY rare characters.

You don’t see this iconic trio out and about every day!

We also wanted to note some characters who are missing from previous years. That includes Gaston from Beauty and the Beast (last seen in 2022) and the Seven Dwarfs (last seen in 2023).
