CONFIRMED: Universal Just Announced ANOTHER Original Concept House for Halloween Horror Nights

Universal Studio’s premiere Halloween event is officially returning for its 33rd year and this time, Universal’s out to pack in the screams! They took us all by surprise when they decided to drop the first HHN house announcement just days ago. And then shortly after, they told us about house number two.

But you know what they say about good things — they come in threes. Universal JUST dropped house number 3’s announcement, and we’re all screaming over it!

Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando is where you can face some of your worst nightmares come to life and now that we’ve finally started getting announcements about what will await us with some of the original house concepts for this year, Universal is ready to do it again!

If you’re an avid HHN lore-ist, you’re probably familiar with this latest house announcement — Major Sweets Candy Factory.

Fans of HHN past may remember Major Sweets referenced in past houses and even a few nods to him(and his dirty work with sinister candies) in recent scare zones like in HHN 31’s Sweet Revenge which was placed in New York.

In Universal’s official announcement for the original house concept, “You’ve been invited to chaperone a field trip to a candy factory. But this sweet tour is about to turn sour when free samples transform the kids into candy-coated killers wielding sharpened candies.”

This comes as a welcomed change to Universal announcing houses featuring heavy-hitting IPs that tend to draw tons of attention to the event. It’s nice to see Universal calling out to the fans of the event and leaning into the creative storylines that their creative team has so carefully crafted over 3 decades.
