Universal Orlando just keeps dropping more and more details about its third park, Epic Universe.

Although Epic Universe isn’t set to open until 2025, we already know a lot about the five lands the new park will feature, including specific details about what those lands will look like, what kind of rides they’ll have, and what kind of food they’ll offer. But it looks like another HUGE announcement could be coming soon.
Universal Orlando has posted a video to on social media teasing something coming on May 2nd, 2024. A follow-up post says, “Stay tuned — we have exciting news to share soon!”

So, what could that exciting news be? Could we be learning about an official opening date for Epic Universe? Will that opening date be early in 2025 (if they’re ready to announce it, that certainly would suggest an early 2025 opening date)? Will this big announcement be about something other than Epic Universe (it’s doubtful)? All we know is that we’ll be anxiously checking Universal Orlando’s social media accounts ALL day until we know more.

We’ve been following along with all the construction progress Universal has been sharing from Epic Universe, and we’ve already seen that they’re ride-testing some of the new rides. That certainly makes it seem like the new park will be ready soon(ish).

Universal has already confirmed opening dates for its two new hotels near Epic Universe. Universal Stella Nova Resort will open on January 21st, 2025, while Universal Terra Luna Resort’s opening date is February 25th. Could that mean we can expect Epic Universe to open before or during that time frame? Fingers crossed!

We won’t know for sure until tomorrow, but we’ll let you know as soon as we know. So check back with AllEars again soon for more!
