We have to admit that the details Universal Orlando has released so far about Epic Universe sound incredible.

The brand new theme park will feature a cool central land, Celestial Park, which will have “portals” to five other themed lands based on How to Train Your Dragon, Universal’s classic monsters, Harry Potter, and more. One of the lands we might be the most excited about, though, is DreamWorks Land, coming to Universal Studios Florida in 2024. Now, we have even more details to share with you about this new area.
DreamWorks Land will be a “vivid world” featuring characters, rides, and themed areas from some of DreamWorks’ most beloved movies. You’ll find special treats, photo-op murals, interactive play areas, splash pads, and entertainment, too, themed to movies like Shrek, Trolls, and more!

The Shrek area of the park will take you to Shrek’s Swamp, which will include meet-and-greets with Shrek, Princess Fiona, and Donkey. There will also be a “little ogre-sized play area” for kids.

At King Harold’s Swamp Symphony, visitors will be able to create their own musical pieces by triggering a choir of frogs by stomping on interactive lily pads. If all that stomping makes you hungry, you can grab some food at Swamp Snacks, including a Shrekzel, Far Far A Waffle, Frozen Ogre, and more. Yes, we’re laughing at “Shrekzel.”
There will also be an area dedicated to Trolls. You’ll be able to ride the family-friendly Trolls Trollercoaster, which takes you on the Caterbus to escape evil spiders. Poppy’s Playground is under a 20-foot mushroom with colorful flowers and bugs for lots of bouncing and climbing. Go shopping at the High Five Hideaway with all the latest DreamWorks-inspired merchandise. Grab a snack at Trolls Treats to drink things like the Poppy-licious Pink or BroZone Berry.

Learn Kung fu at Po’s Kung Fo Training Camp with an interactive experience that brings Panda Village to life for visitors. You’ll have a chance to help pandas wash and dry their laundry with huge water cannons, dump buckets, and more. Plus, there will be plenty of other interactive things to play with for added fun.
You can also meet Po himself at Po Live!, which is a digital interactive meet-and-greet experience.

But wait, there’s more. The DreamWorks Imagination Celebration will be a “multisensory adventure” that combines hit songs, dancing, tech, and more for a fun party. You’ll also get to meet some of your favorite DreamWorks characters at the DreamWorks Character Zone.
That sounds like so much fun, right? We’ll be keeping an eye out for more details, though, so check back with AllEars again soon for more.
