NEWS: Over 350 Flights DELAYED at Orlando Airport Following Christmas Holiday

We have been seeing major delays at Orlando International Airport today.

We would call this the opposite of a Christmas miracle. The day after Christmas can be busy — especially if you’re planning to travel. If you’re leaving MCO today, be wary… flights have been delayed left and right this morning.

Holiday travel is stressful — and this year is projected to be one of the busiest travel seasons at the Orlando International Airport. However, it can be even more stressful when you’re getting ready to go to the airport to head home and are seeing massive delays. We have seen over 250 flights with delays — and 1 cancellation so far.

We’re seeing a ton of delays across different airlines — but it looks like Southwest is one of our biggest culprits.

Even if there are tons of delays happening doesn’t mean your flight will be delayed — make sure you get to the airport with enough time to check bags and go through security before your original flight time (unless you hear otherwise prior to arriving at the airport!).
