Okay, so who’s excited about the live-action The Little Mermaid?
We’ve learned more about the movie since it was initially announced, and we even got a release date for it a while ago. We also learned that Ursula’s backstory is getting a new twist, and we’ve even seen the first teaser trailer. But now, it looks like we’ll soon see live-action Ariel in Disney World.
In the live-action version of The Little Mermaid, Halle Bailey takes on the role of Ariel — and now Disney World is looking for look-alikes. Disney has posted an audition notice for “Look-alikes for the role of ARIEL as depicted in the upcoming live-action adaption of The Little Mermaid.”
According to the listing, Disney is looking for character lookalikes who are 5’2″-5’6″ with “warm, engaging, and outgoing personalities to portray Ariel.” There’s even a photo include of Halle Bailey, who is playing Ariel in the new film, for reference.

In the meantime, mark those calendars, the live-action The Little Mermaid arrives in theaters on May 26th, 2023! Also, you can prepare an Ariel-inspired outfit for the parks with AllEars Style!
