A brand NEW Disney animated movie will be released soon and we’ve got a big update!

Strange World will be released in just a few months — on November 23rd — and we’ve already seen a first look at the film and an initial trailer, but now we’ve got something NEW for you to check out!

A brand-new trailer for Strange World has been released! The movie follows a family of explorers — the Clades — as they try to navigate an “uncharted, treacherous land.” But they won’t be alone (of course). Joining the Clades is a motley crew that includes a little blob that is quite mischievous, a 3-legged dog, and some ravenous creatures!

According to Disney, the film’s director, Don Hall, has said that it is “inspired by classic adventure stories,” but is also about 3 generations of this family overcoming their differences while exploring this strange world.

The voice cast for this movie includes some big names you’ll recognize. There’s Jake Gyllenhaal as Searcher Clade (who Disney describes as “a family man who finds himself out of his element on an unpredictable mission”), Dennis Quaid as Jaeger (Searcher’s “larger-than-life explorer father”), Jaboukie Young-White as Ethan (Searcher’s 16-year-old son), Gabrielle Union as Meridian Clade (“an accomplished pilot and Searcher’s partner in all things”), and Lucy Liu as Callisto Mal (“Avalonia’s fearless leader who spearheads the exploration into the strange world”).
