Now, we’ve finally got MORE details on the new Princess Tiana series coming to Disney+. Let’s find out what you need to know!

We first learned that a new animated series featuring one of our favorite princesses — Tiana — would be coming to Disney+ way back in 2020. Disney shared that the show would be “a long-form musical comedy series featuring Tiana and her friends.”

But, that’s pretty much all we had heard about this series, until now! According to VarietyJoyce Sherri has been announced as the show’s lead writer and director.

The show is a follow-up to The Princess and the Frog and Anika Noni Rose will return to voice Tiana.

The series was set to premiere in 2023, but Disney is now hoping for a 2024 debut. We can’t wait to see what Princess Tiana, Prince Naveen, and all their friends have been up to since we last saw them.
