You may be surprised to know it can actually be a better experience to visit Disney when it rains! There are things that only happen when the skies open up, which happens pretty frequently.

Right now we are seeing a lot of wet days in the parks, and the key to enjoying the rain is being prepared.

Here are some of our favorite rainy day essentials we rely on to have a good time splashing in the puddles!

Ponchos are pretty much a no-brainer! Keep a small, disposable poncho in your park bag that you can easily whip out when you see those dark clouds rolling in. We prefer these to rain coats because they take up much less space and aren’t as heavy during the hotter months.
