Moonlight Magic Event at Disney World SOLD OUT - Here's How You Can Still Attend

Disney Vacation Club, or DVC, is Disney’s version of a vacation ownership program and is similar to a timeshare. Not only can DVC members get amazing rooms at the Disney World hotels, they can also get discounts on things around Disney World, as well as exclusive merchandise and other perks. One of those perks are events called Moonlight Magic. Moonlight Magic is a complimentary event offering after-hours park access to DVC members only. Now, we have an update regarding an upcoming Moonlight Magic event at Typhoon Lagoon!

The next Moonlight Magic events are scheduled for three different nights at Typhoon Lagoon in August and general registration for the event opened this morning at 11AM EST. By 11:31AM all dates had sold out.

If you were wanting to secure a spot at one of the three events but weren’t able to, you’ll have one more chance to RSVP for the Typhoon Lagoon Moonlight Magic event on September 8th. Registration for that date will open on August 16th also at 11AM EST.

At the Moonlight Magic events, DVC members get to be in the parks after they’ve closed and they will have access to some rides, freebies, snacks, and more.

If you’re wanting to snag a spot at a Moonlight Magic event, DVC members who are staying at a Disney World hotel on a day where one is scheduled will get an email inviting them to register a few days before. So for example, if you are a DVC member who has a qualifying Disney World Resort hotel reservation on September 8th, you will be able to register for the Typhoon Lagoon event on August 11th, while DVC members who do not have a qualifying reservation will register on August 16th.
