We’ve seen The Walt Disney Company do some amazing things for their Cast Members and employees.

There are some pretty cool perks like exclusive competitions in Disney parks, special events, early previews of attractions and shows, and free park admission. But more importantly, The Walt Disney Company provides their employees with career advancement opportunities and stability — which they’re being rewarded for.
According to Disney, the company has been named LinkedIn’s Top Company in Media and Entertainment. They shared the methodology used, which is based on 7 pillars shown to lead to career progression, which are: “ability to advance, skills growth, company stability, external opportunity, company affinity, gender diversity, and educational background.”

Specifically, the company was given praise for the benefits they provide their employees and Cast Members with. Along with the fun park-related perks, Disney also shared that employees and Cast Members get weekly pay cadence, on-site childcare (at select locations), and 100% upfront tuition support at network schools.

This is a pretty big recognition for the company to receive! For more news about The Walt Disney Company, check out our post about Disney Stocks hitting an all-time low for 2022. Or, take a look at who they hired to lead new metaverse projects.
