NEWS: Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort Spa Gets OPENING Date

We have some exciting news for those of you looking to spend a little time resting and relaxing in Disney World! While there is plenty to do in the parks, like ride Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure or eat some treats at the Festival of the Arts, some days just call for a little downtime!

Disney just made an exciting announcement that you need to hear about! 

After a period of closure, The Grand Floridian Spa is opening with a refreshed look! The spa will keep the Grand Floridian’s classic Victorian theming, and will feature “clam lighting and comforting music.”

The spa will include a variety of spa and salon services, and guests can also get their hair cut and styled, or go in for a manicure or pedicure treatment! There will also be a relaxation lounge for guests to use before and after their treatments, according to Disney.

The Grand Floridian Spa is set to open on January 26th, 2022. Reservations can be made online starting today, January 11th.

Disney also notes, “As we reopen another area of Walt Disney World Resort, we continue to keep the safety of our guests and cast members top of mind, and your experience may be different from your last visit.” We’re so happy to hear about this spa reopening; be sure to stay tuned as we continue to share the latest Disney news and updates!
