It’s Christmas break for many travelers, and that means that the theme parks are packed!

We’ve already shared some details of the crowds at Disney World, but it’s also the holiday season in Universal Orlando — and hoards of people want to celebrate there as well! Want the proof? We’re here today and we’ve got photo evidence of the crowds.

At Universal’s Islands of Adventure, things are hoppin’ on the Monday before Christmas! As we headed through Seuss Landing on our way to Hogsmeade, we started to realize just how busy today will be.

But at least we’ve got some WHOliday entertainment to keep us busy!

It wasn’t much different in The Lost Continent area either. Here’s where the line for Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure begins.

Seriously, look at all those people!

But the real panic happens when you get to Hogsmeade! The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is typically the busiest part of the parks, but today it was on a new level.

It was basically shoulder-to-shoulder, so pack your patient pants if you’re visiting in the next few days.

You’ll want to budget a little extra time for waiting in line, including waits at gift shops and restaurants during this busy season. This will likely continue for the next few weeks!

Wednesday, December 22nd
On Wednesday, we made our way back to Universal Orlando to see what the crowds looked like. On the moving platforms leading to the entrance of City Walk and the parks, there were quite a few guests, but still some pockets of space.

As we walked into City Walk, we could see plenty of guests all around!

In Universal Orlando, there were some places with LOTS of empty space.

But the area comprising part of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter was (unsurprisingly) busy!

If you’re heading to this popular place, be prepared to face more crowds and lines.

We saw lines in some shops and other areas.

Though some spaces in the park weren’t as bad.

In Islands of Adventure, it was more of the same. Popular spots like the Wizarding World of Harry Potter…

…and the Marvel Super Hero Island area were more crowded.

Spots next to large, popular rides had more crowds, as did some walkways and paths around the park.

But there was more elbow room in other places.

We’ll keep you updated with crowds in the theme parks for the next few weeks, so stay tuned to AllEars. We’ve got you covered with the latest!
