PHOTOS & VIDEOS: ALL the Characters and Entertainment at Disney Merriest Nites

The holidays have officially arrived in Disneyland and we’re kicking off the FIRST night of the new Disney Merriest Nites after-hours event!

So far, we’ve brought you a look at exclusive merchandise, holiday treats, and more! And, now we’re covering all of the entertainment you can see during this ticketed event including a FULL parade, characters, and more — let’s get to it!

A Christmas Fantasy Parade

For the first time since reopening, guests can experience a full-length parade down Main Street, U.S.A. as “A Christmas Fantasy” Parade returns to the park! There were Toy Soldiers…

…Gingerbread people…

…dancing reindeer…

…and Anna and Elsa from Frozen!

Disney Royalty (aka Princesses) were also there, of course…

Themed Parties

And, Disneyland isn’t celebrating with just one holiday-themed party — there’s SIX! You can visit with Miguel from Coco at the Feliz Navidad Party in Frontierland, Princess Tiana at the New Orleans Holiday in New Orleans Square, and some Frozen characters at the Frozen-Themed Party in Fantasyland.

You can also get your tropical island holiday fix with Lilo and Stitch at the Tropical Party in Adventureland…

…party with Buzz Lightyear and a DJ in Tomorrowland…

…and enjoy snoap and Christmas carols with Mickey Mouse and Muppets Kermit and Miss Piggy at the Victorian-Themed Party on Main Street, U.S.A.

Characters

But, the holiday parties aren’t the only places to spot some of your favorite characters! We spotted the ADORABLE Pluto wearing reindeer antlers…

…and Ebenezer Scrooge McDuck along with a ghostly Goofy!

Holiday Attraction Overlays

You’ll also want to be sure that you take some time to ride a few attractions because TWO of them feature a special holiday overlay that you can experience during Merriest Nites!

“it’s a small world” Holiday was scheduled to debut, but it was actually delayed due to flooding! We’ll update once this holiday favorite returns.

And, Haunted Mansion Holiday has been back since September 3rd, and the holidays in Disneyland are a great time to revisit it!

And, lastly, there are plenty of spots to snap a holiday-themed family photo around the park including this fun background inspired by Coco…

…and this Meme Kalikimaka backdrop featuring characters from Lilo & Stitch!

Keep in mind that Disney PhotoPass downloads are included in your event ticket! All you have to do is link your event ticket to your My Disney Experience account in the Disneyland app and then you’ll have 45 days to download your photos from the night!
