The closures at the Disneyland Resort, which began in March of 2020, lasted nearly fourteen months — this means that we missed out on some of our favorite holiday offerings last year, including Haunted Mansion Holiday!

This year, we were thrilled to hear that Haunted Mansion Holiday would return to Disneyland, and we got to check it out today!
During the Halloween and Christmas seasons, Haunted Mansion in Disneyland is transformed into a holiday wonderland, inspired by Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas!

I have a love hate relationship with this overlay. I think it is excellent theming, but Haunted Mansion is my favorite ride and I love it as it is. Also, I wish it would stay in the original format durning October. Nevertheless, it is overall a great overlay, and there is always the Mansion at Disney World that stays the same.
