A few months ago, runDisney announced that in-person races would be returning to Disney World for the 2021-22 race season!
Recently, we’ve brought you a look at this year’s Wine & Dine Half Marathon medals and the theming for each Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend race, and now select guests can already register for the next race weekend in 2022!
Early registration for the 2022 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend set to take place from February 24th to 27th is NOW open for Club runDisney Gold & Platinum members!
The weekend is set to feature three different race distancing including a 5K themed after Cinderella…
…a 10K themed after Tiana from The Princess and The Frog…
…and a Half Marathon themed after Mulan.
Plus, you can also register for the Disney Fairy Tale Challenge which involves completing both the 10K and the Half Marathon for a total of 19.3 miles.
And, in addition to all of the racing distancing, runDisney is offering a new event on the morning of February 24th called Disney Princess Sunrise Yoga. This unique yoga session will take place in Magic Kingdom in front of Cinderella Castle and more details are to come.
Registration for all guests looking to participate in the in-person events will open in just a few days on August 24th, with registration for all virtual races opening shortly after on August 27th.
