How to Get an Exclusive Preview of the Walt Disney Archives Exhibit!

If you’re a big fan of Disney, there are quite a few different ways to go behind the scenes of some of your favorite attractions, movies, and more.

And, one of the ways you can do this is through the many Walt Disney museums and exhibitions across the U.S. And, as the recent exhibition Inside the Walt Disney Archives moves to a new location, there’s a special opportunity for select guests to preview all the history and collectibles!

D23 has announced that they will be hosting a Grand Opening Preview of Inside the Walt Disney Archives at the Graceland Exhibition Center in Memphis, TN. The event will be exclusive to D23 members and will take place on July 22nd (one day before it opens to the general public) from 9:30AM to approximately 3:30PM.

During the event, guests will have the chance to preview over 450 items from Disney history including original artwork, costumes from iconic Disney movies, and props. Plus, there will be a special dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony where guests like Bill Farmer (the voice of Goofy and Pluto) and Bret Iwan (the voice of Mickey Mouse) will be in attendance.

And, that’s not all! Guests will also hear from the Director of the Walt Disney Archives, Becky Cline, and then gather for a buffet luncheon to view an exclusive screening of Adventure Thru the Walt Disney Archives.

Tickets will go on sale on June 21st at 1PM EST and will cost $99 for Gold Members and $125 for General Members. Plus, members can purchase up to three extra tickets for guests.
